I love it! Yes, I would assume Middle Eastern descent, but as far as I know it’s not a religiously or culturally loaded name so I don’t think it’s unusable if you’re not of that heritage. Such a strong, streamlined, sophisticated name.

I probably would assume they’re of that heritage, yes. But that said I think it’s a gorgeous name, for any kid.

Yes, I would assume a Middle Eastern heritage. Either way, it’s a beautiful name

I would immediately assume someone Middle Eastern/South [name_f]Asian[/name_f] or Muslim.

I would assume that the child had some Arabic background (whether that be direct heritage or due to parents living in an Arabic country for a while). Its a beautiful name though.

I would assume that a [name_f]Noor[/name_f] is Middle Eastern but I absolutely love when ethnic names get mixed, e.g. [name_f]Noor[/name_f] [name_u]McCarthy[/name_u], [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] Palladino.

I would assume Middle Eastern unless they had a very Dutch surname. I think it’s nice.

I wouldn’t assume heritage based on a first name. Surname is a far better indicator

I think it’s gorgeous and I would not assume Middle Eastern, I don’t usually assume heritage from a first name.

[name_f]Noor[/name_f] is so gorgeous! I would assume Middle Eastern descent but I would not be surprised if the kid did not have any.

I adore [name_f]Noor[/name_f]. I know a few toddlers by the name at my daughter’s daycare (as well as a dog named for the photo agency). I would assume some Middle Eastern heritage (or mixed heritage with a clearly non-Middle Eastern surname), but I wouldn’t be judgemental if there wasn’t any.

I would also assume she would have at least someMiddle Eastern heritage but would not make any assumptions about her religion. It’s a gorgeous name.
