Nora Lillian or Nora Grace

Which name flows better? We like [name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name], but [name]Grace[/name] seems to be used a lot as a middle.

I love [name]Grace[/name] as fn but it is overdone in the middle. [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is very sweet!

[name]Grace[/name] is used a lot, but I think that’s for a reason - it flows well with almost any fn that doesn’t end in a -s sound, which is most of them

I think “[name]Grace[/name]” is the new “[name]Marie[/name]” or “[name]Elizabeth[/name]” for middle names --it’s [name]EVERY[/name] girl’s middle name. [name]Lillian[/name] is just as pretty and less common.

Dislike [name]Lillian[/name]. [name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] it is.

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is lovely!

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is very pretty. I agree with other posters that [name]Grace[/name] is overused as a middle name.

I don’t really like the name [name]Lillian[/name] but [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is gorgeous!

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] in the middle spot! Using [name]Grace[/name] is really going to date her as she gets older!

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] definately flows better than [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]. I love both names and don’t think you could go wrong with either one. I don’t think the over use should be an issue for a mn.

[name]Grace[/name] is used a lot in the middle spot. I love [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name].

I think both names flow well. Since [name]Grace[/name] is a common filler middle name I would use [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] unless [name]Grace[/name] has a deep meaning that trumps the commonness of [name]Grace[/name].

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] sounds so lovely, however it is a most popular middle name now. That’s neither good nor bad, just the way it is. Still a lovely and classic name.

[name]LOVE[/name] your first name choice of [name]Nora[/name]! I agree with most - while [name]Grace[/name] is sweet and all, it’s way overdone. It is definitely the new [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name].

Honestly though, I think [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] sounds much better in flow and sophistication. I adore it!

I like the flow of [name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] better. But [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] isn’t bad.

I like [name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. [name]Grace[/name] is very pretty!

I’m glad you posted because we are considering [name]Grace[/name] as a mn and have the same reservation. Our first name choice is [name]Ada[/name], [name]Ada[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. It does have significance to us. Funny we are looking for an L middle name but can’t come up with one. Many have suggested [name]Lillian[/name] which I like but dh does not. I think [name]Nora[/name] is lovely and [name]Nora[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] as well. I don’t think you’ll go wrong either way, go with what you love. My daughter’s name was #4 on the SSR when we named he and we’ve only met one other in 9 years!

Thanks for all the feedback. Though [name]Grace[/name] has some significance as my name is [name]Anna[/name], which means [name]Grace[/name], we are really coming around to [name]Lillian[/name], which also has significance for us. We’ll just have to let these names sit with us a while (only 8 more weeks to go!) and see what seems right at the time. Please keep the comments coming!

I like [name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. A friend of my Mom is named [name]Nora[/name] and my favorite author is [name]Nora[/name] [name]Roberts[/name]. Really loving that name. [name]Grace[/name] is one of those names I would not have used back when I was having babies and really like now.

I [name]JUST[/name] REALLY [name]LOVE[/name] THE NAME [name]NORA[/name] OKAY. That being said, I like the sound of [name]Nora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] better.
