Nora, Lucy, Olive, Edie & Louise - Who Stands Out To You The Most?

As you might have guessed, my current top 5 first names, are [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Edie[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. I’m unsure as to which I love the most, so I’m a bit curious to see which of the 5 names stands out to you the most as the prettiest/nicest/best option of the 5 names.

Sooooo;

a) [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
b) [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
c) [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
d) [name_f]Edie[/name_f] (EE-dee)
f) [name_f]Louise[/name_f]

The one that stands out to me is [name_f]Edie[/name_f], but only because I strongly dislike it. The others are very beautiful  [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] are my favorites. I also like the spelling [name_f]Lucie[/name_f]!

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] stands out, and then [name_f]Olive[/name_f].

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Edie[/name_f].

The others aren’t me. I guess I see them all as dull Nameberry favourites. There’s nothing wrong with the names themselves, though.

Haha, I think I’ve been so drawn to [name_f]Olive[/name_f] thanks to the silent film actress [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. Her real life love story with [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Pickford[/name_m] was so sweet, and then she, yanno died tragically because she accidentally drank mercury bichloride. But anyways, I never really adored it until recently. Actually, [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is one I started liking thanks to silent film actresses…and [name_f]Clara[/name_f], I may have a pattern going here!

Hmm, standout factor and prettiness are two different things. I would say [name_f]Olive[/name_f] stands out the most for its spunk and uniqueness, but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f] are probably the prettiest.

I love all those names, but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] definitely stands out to me! Such a happy, cheerful name, that always makes me smile. It also has a lovely meaning, “shining light”

[name_f]Edie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] I immensely dislike the other two I would really dislike to be named [name_f]Olive[/name_f] its a fruit I much prefer [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]

[name_f]Nora[/name_f]- Reminds me of [name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m], nothing wrong with that though, and it’s a nice name.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]- [name_m]Just[/name_m] don’t really like it, I know way too many.
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]- I don’t like olives, and it reminds me of those, but I suppose it’s okay as a nn. But your story behind it clearly makes it more special to you.
[name_f]Edie[/name_f]- I think it’s a great name, although I prefer it as a nn.
[name_f]Louise[/name_f]- I’m not sure, I’m a bit neutral about this one.
I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] stand out, as the others are used less, and, to me, sound more classic. I know an [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (my age) who sometimes goes by [name_f]Olive[/name_f], and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is very popular at the moment, which is why I think it could be used more (even if not as a given name).

Adorable names!
For a start, I absolutely adore the name [name_f]Nora[/name_f] (although I prefer it spelt [name_f]Norah[/name_f]). It seems so pretty and unique and reminds me of the beautiful eldest daughter in the ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ movie with the same name played by [name_u]Piper[/name_u] Perabo I believe.
I know many [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s and I’m not really into the common names but if it’s one that you love it is still beautiful, I had a name crush on it once so I gave the name to my puppy. That didn’t turn out so well because when my older brother brought home his new girlfriend, we discovered her name was also [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. Calling everyone for dinner was interesting…lol.
I also know a few [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]'s but [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is a nice twist (see what I did there…[name_f]Olive[/name_f]-er…twist…okay I’ll stop now.) Lol
I used to think [name_f]Edie[/name_f] was a pretty looking name but the sounding is a little sharp and dominating, I prefer softer names for girls. It could be just because I associate that name with the fiesty Desperate Housewives character however.
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] is a name I perceive as older. [name_f]My[/name_f] friend’s cousin just used it as a middle name and I think it goes nicely with [name_f]Alysa[/name_f], but it’s not one I would personally use. These names are all beautiful and unique in their own way and I’m sure you have reasons as to why they are your faves. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite of the five would be [name_f]Nora[/name_f].

[name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] <3

The two that really stands out for me are [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Edie[/name_f]. I also think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Edie[/name_f] sound wonderful as a sibling set. I really like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I have it on my long list but I prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. I do not feel [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would make the best sibling set. [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is a family name and I would consider it for a middle name.
