Norah?

We like [name_f]Norah[/name_f] for a girl and I’d originally considered it (well [name_f]Nora[/name_f] actually) as a nickname for [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] but my husband doesn’t sound too keen on [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]. I’m quite happy with just [name_f]Nora[/name_f]/[name_f]Norah[/name_f] but want to hear if the Berries had any great ideas for what [name_f]Nora[/name_f] could be a nickname for, just in case we both end up loving the full name just as much as the nickname. So, in short…

What full name would you use for [name_f]Norah[/name_f]/[name_f]Nora[/name_f]?

[name_f]Annora[/name_f]
[name_f]Honora[/name_f]
[name_f]Lennora[/name_f]
[name_f]Senora[/name_f]
[name_f]Norma[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonora[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonora[/name_f]
[name_f]Elianora[/name_f]

I really like [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and think it’s a great name full name.

I think [name_f]Norah[/name_f] is so lovely!

Some ideas for a full name:

Noralie
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] / [name_f]Elanor[/name_f] / [name_f]Elinor[/name_f]
[name_f]Azenor[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonor[/name_f]
[name_f]Lenore[/name_f]

I adore [name_f]Norah[/name_f]!!

[name_f]Norah[/name_f] is a lovely name! I love the suggestion of Noralie

I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f] (without the h). I would used that as the full first name. For longer names, I like [name_f]Honora[/name_f] and Noralie.

I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (just [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], without the “A” on the end!) or [name_f]Annora[/name_f]/[name_f]Honora[/name_f] (which are pretty much said the same). Other than that, I’m not sure? I can’t really think of other [name_f]Nora[/name_f] names. Maybe [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]/[name_f]Lenora[/name_f]? I love them both, but I’d prefer [name_f]Lena[/name_f] or [name_f]Leni[/name_f] to [name_f]Nora[/name_f], personally. I’m still struggling to get my love for [name_f]Nora[/name_f] back that I’d had a couple years ago. :frowning:

My personal favorite full name for [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is [name_f]Honora[/name_f].

With that said, I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a standalone name.
