It’s sweet! Reminds me of a more “frilly” version of [name_f]Coraline[/name_f], and definitely could appeal to parents who like the name, but don’t want the movie association. I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a nickname option, as well. :white_heart:

as in the ‘LINE’ ending, rhyming with ‘FINE’ right? (sorry, I met a [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] 'ca-ro-lynn recently)

It’s intriguing – cosy but slightly witchy (a bit like [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]) – and I think it goes with some ot the other names you’ve mentioned recently, like [name_f]Willavere[/name_f] and [name_f]Benjamina[/name_f].

I actually really like it! My first guess would’ve been Nora-line (like Caroline), so that pronunciation feels intuitive to me.

I’m not keen. It sounds like either a drug or a cleaning product for clogged drains.

I’m not a fan personally, but I don’t think it’s terrible or anything!

I think it’s very pretty, but only pronounced “Nora-line” not “Nora-leen” which I think some who mistake.

Oh, I really like Noraline. I love names that feel like they should already exist. I feel like this would be an amazing name for a character in an alternate history or quirky contemporary novel and it would be really sweet on a little girl as well.

it feels timeless in a way–like one of those names i’d find in both a classroom and a cemetery. i’m a fan i think!

I’m not a fan to be honest.

It sounds like a pharmaceutical name to me :-/

I’d be really excited to meet someone with this name!!!
