I like [name_u]Nova[/name_u] but I don’t like [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] for a girl

I like both names, and they go well together stylistically, but I find the ending of [name_u]Nova[/name_u] and the beginning of [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] run into each other. I also prefer [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] on a boy. [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] [name_u]Nova[/name_u] for a boy or siblings [name_u]Nova[/name_u] and [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] would be cool!

I love word names, but I think it is too much, in this case. “[name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]Atlas[/name_u]” is very geographic and descriptive.

I love [name_u]Nova[/name_u] [name_u]Atlas[/name_u]! Reminds me of [name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]’s daughter, [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] [name_u]Noa[/name_u].

Something about it seems too wordy/descriptive to me. Agree with @Estrela. I like both names fine but not as a combo.

Nova is pretty but [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] is very masculine so I don’t care for it on a girl.

I REALLY love this combo! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_u]Nova[/name_u] is a little more modern than my usual style, I think it’s just beautiful. [name_f]Every[/name_f] time I see it I feel very drawn to it. It’s such a captivating name! I also adore [name_u]Atlas[/name_u]. I usually prefer it on a boy but it works really well as a middle for [name_u]Nova[/name_u]. The whole name feels incredibly powerful but gentle at the same time.

I am a huge fan of space and mythology names though so I’m sure that helps! haha

I mean, you can do whatever you want, but I’d prefer you didn’t- could you go for something similar instead? If you absolutely MUST add this, I’m not going to be angry or anything- I just get oddly possessive of my combos. :slightly_smiling_face:
But it made me feel really good that you like it so much!

I totally get this! I get possessive of my combos as well. I even get kinda irritated when I see people in real life use one of my favorite names lol I really need to get over myself :sweat_smile: I think I just get jealous that they got to use it before me

Me too. I get worried about “idea stealing” personally :joy: I’m working on getting over it though because it’s a very irrational fear of mine.

Me too! [name_f]My[/name_f] problem is that I worry about being mean too- all my friends say I’m “the really NICE one”. Except for my BEST friends- they think I’m bossy and I argue everything. But with people I don’t know all that well, I’m always TOO nice.
