And here’s the strangely specific request: I want it to have ‘lock’ in it. I love [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] Lovelock but there’s too many L sounds I think

@EagleEyes I am loving the idea of [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] [name_m]Havelock[/name_m] (nice balance of girly and not, it’s giving light blue)! and [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] Maylock / [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] Brynlock (I had actually thought of Maylock but I didn’t know if that was a good idea, I often don’t trust my ideas). My alternative idea was [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Locke[/name_m] ‘Lilla’ and I love it…,but it doesn’t feel quite the same as standalone [name_f]Lilla[/name_f]. I would absolutely and shamelessly use [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] [name_m]Sherlock[/name_m] on a child but I feel too self conscious about it to put it on my UC, even though we all have our more unique name fixations.

the character, the show, the name, all of it. Plus it’s sort of a reference to the “Sherlock is actually a girl’s name” in the show. I am really liking Havenlock and Shylock, thank you!
@EdgeOfTheMeadow Wenlock is so lovely, this one is gonna be a big contender! Makes me wonder if perhaps I would use Wrenlock or Roselocke…

I like the idea of [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] Lockhart or [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] [name_m]Locket[/name_m] that have been mentioned! [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] Roselocke too. I can’t think of anything to add, but I love these three!
Did try playing with shorter names like [name_f]Bryn[/name_f] and [name_f]Wren[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to see if I could come up with anything that I liked—what about:

I actually did think about [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] Ivylock! I love the idea of Maevelocke, Noorlock (maybe I can finally put my beloved [name_f]Nora[/name_f] to use in Noralock), Fleurlocke, Hattelock…and I was about to list almost all of the others, so basically, you knocked it out of the park. I thought of Mylock but it sounds too much like I’m combining [name_m]Sherlock[/name_m] and Mycroft

Shylock should unusable, unfortunately, because of the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] character and its extremely antisemitic associations. It’s nice in sound, but I would absolutely not recommend it for real life or your UC.

I also really like [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Locke[/name_m] “Lilla,” fwiw. [name_f]Love[/name_f] that spelling of [name_m]Locke[/name_m] as a MN.
