It seems you really like [name_m]Ajax[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m]. How about [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] for the other twin? Has a similarly magical and mythical vibe without sharing initials, and begins with the same sound as [name_f]Laila[/name_f] (assuming it’s LIE-la?)
[name_m]Ajax[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_m]Evander[/name_m] Eik?

Of your options, I like the idea of [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_m]Evander[/name_m]! Eik is pretty cool too!
Nods to [name_f]Laila[/name_f]:
Eik [name_u]Leander[/name_u]
Eik [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] / Eik Lisander
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Laith[/name_m]
Eik [name_u]Layton[/name_u]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_u]Lael[/name_u]
Eik [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Laertes[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Lyall[/name_m]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Lyall[/name_m]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_u]Layton[/name_u]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Adlai[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Adlai[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Laius[/name_m]
With A.jax, and based on your choices, I’d add in the suggestions of:
[name_m]Ragnar[/name_m]
[name_u]Auden[/name_u]
[name_m]Espen[/name_m]
[name_m]Lars[/name_m]
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m]
Torleif
[name_u]Storm[/name_u]
[name_m]Isidore[/name_m]
I think [name_m]Evander[/name_m] and [name_u]Orion[/name_u] work best.
Maybe [name_u]Mars[/name_u] or Ares/Aries?
Congrats on your twins!
I would move [name_m]Evander[/name_m], or go with [name_u]Orion[/name_u]!
Other ideas: [name_u]Ares[/name_u] [name_u]Ace[/name_u] [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_u]Lior[/name_u] [name_m]Castor[/name_m] [name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_m]Eros[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_u]Mars[/name_u] [name_m]Upton[/name_m]
I know you said you don’t need to keep the A- trend going, but as someone who likes that, I’m going to suggest A names. You can ignore this completely if you wish.
[name_f]Aidin[/name_f]
[name_u]Andy[/name_u]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_m]Arvid[/name_m]
Huge congratulations!
A.tlas and A.jax feel a little close in sound for me but certainly doable and not necessarily a big issue. [name_m]Just[/name_m] something to think about.
I like A.tlas and [name_m]Evander[/name_m], Eik, or [name_u]Orion[/name_u] as a brother set. [name_m]Evander[/name_m] and [name_u]Orion[/name_u], or [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and Eik as the twin set go really well.
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Ajax[/name_m]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Emil[/name_m]
Eik [name_m]Soren[/name_m]
Eik [name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Markus[/name_m]

Congratulations!
This is so sweet news
I love A.tlas I.ver. and A.jax E.vander together! Really magical/ whimsical, yet masculine and handsome
I personally love the suggestion Lysander, but it’s super rhymey with E.vander, so I wouldn’t use it. My mother has a twin sister and she has always told me how she struggled that my grandmother dressed them the same and wanted their names to be super similar etc, etc.
I love Eik and Orion, I think they share the vibe, but are different enough.
Some more ideas (names that in my opinion have something ethereal or lyrical about them. Some are softer like a woodland elf and some are more stronger like a hero in a storybook ):
Alaric, Alasdair/ Alastor/Alistair, Ares, Aurelion, Archeron, Auberon, Ademir, Asterion, Atticus, Azarius, Aslan, Ambrose
Caius, Cornelius, Celestin, Casimir, Cassius, Caspian, Cirrus/ Kiur, Cedric/ Cedar
Daphnis, Dominic
Elidor, Eldarion, Evren (a bit too similar to Evander tho), Erion, Elvar, Ethealdred (maybe too much?
)
Freyr, Florian/ Florizel
Griffin/ Griffith
Hawthorne
Isidor, Ingmar
Jasper/ Jaspen
Knox, Kaiea
Lucian, Leodegrance, Leonidas, Leland (perhaps the most similar one to Laila), Lorchlan/ Lochlan, Layton
Murtagh, Melchior
Nathaniel, Noctis, Neleus
Octavian, Oaken, Odin, Osias, Orson , Oceanus, Otis, Oberon
Peregrin, Polaris, Percival
Rowan, Rhys (Rhysand is so handsome, but maybe too much of a character name?), Raphael, Rhodes
Sylvan, Stellan, Sterling, Sonder, Silas, Stark
Thorin/ Thoreau, Tristan
Uriel, Ulric, Uther, Ulysses, Urs
Viridian/ Viridius
Winslow
Zephyr
With [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] [name_m]Iver[/name_m] and A.j@x [name_m]Evander[/name_m] I think you should consider
[name_u]Arrow[/name_u] / [name_m]Aero[/name_m]
[name_m]Amadeus[/name_m]
[name_m]Arland[/name_m]
[name_m]Ashe[/name_m]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_u]Ezra[/name_u]
Oswald/ [name_m]Osborne[/name_m]
[name_u]Vale[/name_u]
Eik is a really great choice!!
And I think [name_u]Orion[/name_u] has a similar meaning to [name_f]Laila[/name_f]. That would be a cute way to honor her.
[name_u]Onyx[/name_u]
[name_m]Zander[/name_m]
[name_m]Xavian[/name_m]
[name_m]Alastair[/name_m]
[name_m]Abner[/name_m]
[name_u]Elton[/name_u]
[name_m]Altair[/name_m]
[name_u]Axton[/name_u]
[name_m]Calix[/name_m]
[name_m]Alaric[/name_m]
[name_m]Kaius[/name_m]
With A.tlas & A.jax, seems to me like [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] is your best choice! If you’re going to have two boys with greek god/mythology names, both of which start with A, that’s a pretty strong theme.
Between Eik, [name_u]Orion[/name_u], and [name_m]Evander[/name_m] as first name options, I like [name_u]Orion[/name_u]! Eik is a bit too unusual for me, and [name_m]Evander[/name_m] is too long for my tastes next to brothers (plus I like the A.jax E.vander combo a lot!)
Also, I loveeee the name [name_u]Atlas[/name_u]!
I don’t think I have any new ideas beyond the comments above, but best of luck!
A.tlas, A.jax and…
[name_u]Asher[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_u]Axel[/name_u]
[name_m]Adonis[/name_m]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]Angus[/name_m]
[name_u]Archer[/name_u]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u]
[name_u]Ziggy[/name_u]
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_u]Ezra[/name_u]
[name_u]Elias[/name_u]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
I’m glad you liked it! It was literally what it felt like. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner told people by saying “everything was fine, except there was one problem with the girl…”, which made more than one person at risk for a heart attack. He thought it was super funny, though.
Basically everything, every combo and all names are up for debate at this point. I have thought about both [name_m]Ajax[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and Eik [name_m]Evander[/name_m], but I think I’m at that point where I’ve thought about it so much that nothing seems good anymore? Like when [name_m]Ted[/name_m] from How I Met Your Mother keeps saying “bowl”.
(Haha, my profile pic is a really (really, really) old picture of me drinking from an inflatable flamingo cup- thingy upside down.
