So, I’ve had a name list for years and years now. I’ve been going through combo’s for ages, but I just can’t find anything that I love. I am not expecting, just a name nerd who is preparing. I am NOT asking for comments or opinions on the names, and the first names are set in stone as most have family significance; I just wanted some fresh eyes and combinations. I would prefer 2 middle names, but really just come up with the combo’s that you think sound good. I am hoping to find combo’s that feel British, classic and a bit whimsical for girls, and classic for boys but I also wonder whether or not I should have a bit of whimsy for boys, as it better reflects my/my hubby’s personality. So berries, go nuts!! And I do warn you, these lists are long:
Thank you in advance!!
Girls First names:
[name]Daphne[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Iris[/name]
[name]Aster[/name]
[name]Lily[/name]
[name]Poppy[/name]
Boys first names:
[name]Edward[/name]
[name]George[/name]
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]William[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Alfred[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name]
Ok since she did the girl’s I’ll give you my boy name opinions. (Gotta say I was tempted to just go down the list and use all of your [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] choices for middle names because they are my favorite… haha). I didn’t use the names that I don’t personally care for, but you have a lovely literary naming style. I’m going to put them all into double middle combos to try to utilize the most options, and make up a few of my own with the ‘leftovers’. Here goes! =]
[name]Edward[/name] [name]Frederick[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name] (super strong name, my favorite from this list I think!)
[name]George[/name] [name]Phineas[/name] [name]Walter[/name] (sounds very regal to me and I get quite a nice mental image)
[name]Henry[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] (a bit more whimsy in this name, I think it works great!)
[name]William[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] (thought it paired up well, gives off an outdoorsy feel)
[name]Charles[/name] [name]Hector[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] (now that I look back over it, this is my least favorite)
[name]Alfred[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] (I just liked the way these all sounded together)
[name]Arthur[/name] [name]Dorian[/name] [name]James[/name] (very handsome name, probably my second favorite!)
([name]Robert[/name] [name]Sirius[/name] [name]Hugo[/name]) this is my favorite combo I made out of your ‘maybe’ list =]
([name]Edgar[/name] [name]Jack[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name])
([name]Tristan[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Otto[/name])
([name]Everett[/name] [name]Jude[/name] Diggory)
Ok since she did the girls I’ll give you my boy opinions- I like boy names better anyway. (Gotta say I was tempted to just go down the list and use all of your [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] choices for middle names because they are my favorite… haha). I didn’t use the names that I don’t personally care for, but you have a lovely literary naming style. I’m going to put them all into double middle combos to try to utilize the most options, and make up a few of my own with what’s left over. Here goes! =]

Thank you all so much!! There are so many combo’s that I would never have put together myself, this is exactly what I was looking for berries! Please keep them coming!
@[name]Sunshine[/name].10 - I love how you have paired the names up, especially [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Clover[/name], [name]Violet[/name] [name]Athena[/name], [name]Rose[/name] [name]Minerva[/name], [name]Iris[/name] [name]Georgia[/name], [name]Aster[/name] [name]Calliope[/name], [name]Lily[/name] [name]Esmeralda[/name] and [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Wren[/name] - I would never have done it, but now that I’m looking at them they’re awesome! Thank you!
@Amydomsmom - thank you, I do love [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] and literature in general. All of your combos are just ‘wow’ to me, even the ones from the middles list. I especially like [name]George[/name] [name]Phineas[/name] [name]Walter[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Otto[/name], and I never ever would have come up with any of your combinations myself. Thank you again, these are great!
@ottilie - I love these too! (actually, I’ve seen some of the combo’s you’ve made yourself and for other berries, and they’re always great). You’ve totally captured what I meant when I said ‘british and whimsical and classic’, all at once. I love [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Scout[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Esme[/name]. Thank you so much!
I love nameberry! Thank you all again, you have been so helpful, and please feel free to keep posting on this topic!!
