Okay, berries. Bear with me! My last post, promise ;)

So we are down to two names and I posted about it last week and then later, created a poll (should have done that the first time). I know a lot of you don’t like either of these names which is fine. There are plenty of other names I find beautiful but these are the two we have settled on.

We are down to [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]. [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] won in the poll.

But then today someone suggested: [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name]. Does that name work? or is the flow off and would I just be trying to force two names together that I love?

Thank you!

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] is very pretty to say and to look at written out on the page. [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]/[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] just can’t compare. [name]Both[/name] names are five letters and two syllables so they don’t flow well. The combos also blend into each other (Willahazel and Hazelwilla).

I like [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] best but, if you decide to use hazel as a first name I prefer [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corrina[/name]. Something about [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] doesn’t sound right maybe try [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willow[/name]?

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] has an awful lot of L; it’s funny, but I didn’t get the same L-heavy sense with [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]. If you’re going for [name]Hazel[/name] as a first, my preference would be [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]. I don’t mind the 2-2 syllable because the rhythm falls on different beats. [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] is unusual and works beautifully too.

I’m still a little in love [name]Willa[/name] as the first.

I like [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] much more, personally, as a combo, and I prefer [name]Hazel[/name] as a name in general (although I love [name]Willa[/name], too!), but it depends on how you say [name]Corinna[/name]. If it’s cor-EE-nah, then I prefer [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], but if it’s cor-[name]RIN[/name]-ah, then [name]Hazel[/name] easily gets my vote. I love everything about [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name], but I don’t like the [name]Carina[/name] pronunciation for [name]Corinna[/name], personally. Still pretty names, though.

I like [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name].

I do think [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] is very pretty too. I think it flows juat fine. [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willow[/name] sounds a little more complete to me for some reason though.

Thank you for your comments and opinions!

I love [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]!

I prefer [name]Hazel[/name] as a first name. I like it with [name]Corinna[/name] & with [name]Willa[/name]. Also think you might like to consider [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corrine[/name].

I really like [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]. I like [name]Hazel[/name] as a fn too but I am not crazy about [name]Corinna[/name]. [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] could definitely work!

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] sounds better…
[name]Corinna[/name] makes the name pretty.
[name]Willa[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name] are both too bland and have the same antique vibe.

I think [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] is beautiful name combination. [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] is not aesthetically pleasing at all. [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is okay, but not great. I like [name]Willa[/name], do you have an additional middle name option that you’ve considered with [name]Willa[/name] as well?

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] is too ‘l’ heavy…I don’t like it at all. [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is okay, but I much prefer [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corrina[/name].

Good luck.

I prefer [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name]. I think [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] sound slightly similar. ([name]Both[/name] five letters, two of the same letters l and a, prominent l sounds) [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] doesn’t flow for me well. I might prefer [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willow[/name], but I prefer [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corrina[/name] to both. It’s really nice choice. Good [name]Luck[/name]!

I lost a baby I named [name]Willa[/name] [name]Olive[/name]. The flow isn’t great, it’s not what I would’ve normally chosen, but I loved both names too much not to use. We call her by either name.
Sometimes, the flow isn’t the most important thing. Go with your gut.
You could always do [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corrine[/name] and call her [name]Hazel[/name] if you really want [name]Hazel[/name] add the first name
[name]Hope[/name] this helps

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] does NOT flow, its IS a desperate attempt to have the best of both world.

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corrina[/name] is lovely and flows much better

I still vote for [name]Willa[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], second choice [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name]. I am not a fan of [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name].

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Corinna[/name] sounds beautiful!

Yeah, I do not really think [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Willa[/name] flows well, I just thought I would try  The first name is obviously most important to me because one so rarely uses or people so rarely know or remember a middle name. I just love both of those names. I will move on from that combo and we will just need to decide which first name we want to use! Thank you!
