I"m struck by “[name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]” - [name_u]Marion[/name_u] used to be a man’s name, I guess. Times have changed. And “[name_u]Bela[/name_u]” was a man’s name, [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Bela[/name_u].
And “[name_f]Adelheid[/name_f]” must be [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]. Cool.
I’ve never heard of “[name_m]Ferd[/name_m]” but I bet [name_m]Ferd[/name_m] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] was a man. Which means [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] was more of a man’s name. Now [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] is usually a female. I guess for a while, in the past, [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] was unisex.
[name_f]Theadora[/name_f] is a cool spelling. [name_f]MargarETTE[/name_f] hee hee. This is cool.
Please let me apologize if I offended you at all. I’m so sorry because I just realized I made fun of your family. Sorry! I like and love all of those names. If I ever write a children’s book then Flavious Armenus will definitely own a huge haunted mansion and talking horses. He’s magical to me now.
But this was the highlight of day, seriously. So please forgive me if I seemed to make fun of them, that wasn’t my intention at all.
This might be completely wrong, but if I’m not mistaken, [name_u]Bela[/name_u] is pronounced [name_u]BAY[/name_u]-luh, like [name_u]Bela[/name_u] Lugosi of Dracula fame. I think the accent is optional (Béla) and that either way it is said [name_u]BAY[/name_u]-luh.
There are some really great names in that list. [name_f]My[/name_f] absolute favourites are:
