If baby #2 is a boy, we’re looking for a name to go with big brother [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] ‘[name_u]Jem[/name_u]’. We originally picked out [name_m]Declan[/name_m], but our entire family hated it. Threw around some other names, trying to find something everyone liked, and just couldn’t. Picked out [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], thinking ‘who couldn’t love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]?!’
Well… No one likes [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] haha. So we don’t really care now what everyone thinks!
So… [name_m]Declan[/name_m]? I think it matches the Irish vibe with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], but lacks good nicknames. Maybe [name_m]Dax[/name_m]?
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]? I love [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] and [name_u]Jem[/name_u], but [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] itself seems lacking next to [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].
I’ve been an [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] fan this whole time! But I also do like [name_m]Declan[/name_m], too. I think [name_m]Declan[/name_m] and [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] go well together. I like the nn [name_m]Dex[/name_m], actually. Is [name_m]Liam[/name_m] out? I like your other options more but [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is a solid, good name and it’s pretty popular so obviously people do love it! Though I’m glad you are tossing other peoples’ opinions out the window They will learn to love any name that your sweet baby will have!

I definitely vote [name_m]Declan[/name_m], and it doesn’t have to have a nickname. It fits well with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] and I just like that name. I’m not much of an [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] fan, but if you like it you should have no problem using it.

That being said, I prefer [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], though [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] works too.

I adore [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. I also really like [name_m]Declan[/name_m]. You can’t go wrong either way! [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t mind what everyone else thinks and just go with the one that your gut is telling you. Maybe take more than one name to the hospital and decide when the baby is born? He (if it’s a boy) may just seem like he fits one name better than the other when you meet him.
