Thoughts on [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] for a girl? Not as a nickname, as a full name. Met a baby today named [name_u]Ollie[/name_u].
I know a little girl (she’s probably about 10 now) named [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]. Its cute and slightly unexpected however fits in with other popular names like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_u]Allie[/name_u] and other girl names like [name_u]Holly[/name_u], [name_f]Molly[/name_f] & [name_f]Polly[/name_f]. It might have the problem of being misheard as one of those.
Over all I think it works
[name_f]Pretty[/name_f] cute, a little bit rugged and fun.
I think it could work as a fun nickname, but it doesn’t strike me as a full name for either a boy or a girl.
really sweet, and could work as a full! i don’t think most would assume your ollie is a girl, though, it can either way. i know two ollie’s. one is oliver, and the other olive.
I think [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] is cute! I could see [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] is a full name for a girl. There’s [name_f]Mollie[/name_f], [name_u]Allie[/name_u], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], why not [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]?
I think it’s adorable, but would prefer as a nickname myself
I think its cute but do agree that it might get misheard as [name_u]Allie[/name_u] or [name_u]Holly[/name_u] a lot.
I associate it pretty strongly with [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], so it doesn’t seem like a girl’s name as a standalone (but maybe it could work as a nickname for something like Olivia)?
