What do you think of [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]? Associations and imagery? All thoughts and opinions welcome
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is floral, pretty and bright, with literary and arty vibes
ophelia is a hippie cool girl. it’s airy and bright, but the literary connection definitely brings her more down to earth. the perfect mix of strength and beauty!
Very strong literary association with me, very Shakespearean and very very senior year AP Lit connection in my head. She will always be tied to the character in the play. Aside from these: classically dated, soft and whispy, melancholy, beauty, and not of this time
This is it for me too. There’s no separating the name from “Hamlet” in my head. Whether or not that is an issue is honestly up to you.
Underwritten drowned girl. I really can’t stand this name. Bad associations. I like [name_f]Ophelie[/name_f] OK though it sounds kind of like offal.
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is gorgeous
She’s elegant, ethereal and has a dreamy romance behind her. I love the literacy ties and find the meaning ‘help’ comforting. A lovely option that feels fashionable, whimsical and strong all at the same time
I loveee [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] (and [name_f]Ophelie[/name_f] * o FAY lee * ). It gives me cottagecore and regal vibes, and of course the iconic Lumineers song (which isn’t a bad associations.
One thing not mentioned yet that I think gets mentioned on more then one occasion in this forum is the similar sound [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] has to the phrase “I feel ya”
