Is [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] too much?
I like that [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] means [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - which would be a nice way to honor someone very special to me.
[name_f]Belle[/name_f] is to honor my mom. She called me [name_f]Belle[/name_f] since the day I was born (before Beauty and the Beast came out).
Everyone I know and who knew my mother would know why I put [name_f]Belle[/name_f] in there, but [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is a little less obvious.
Would just like peoples thoughts on this combo… Is it too much Disney, even though that is not what I am going for?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it? dislike it?
My first thought wasn’t Disney princess but more that the names flow together in a weird way…
Kind of sounds like Aurabelle like a variant on [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] when you say it fast…
We call our [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] I love the sound of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. My mind did go immediately to Disney though, not saying that’s good or bad though.
I didn’t think of Disney at all until you brought it up and I think [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is gorgeous, especially since it has so much meaning to you.
When I say, I don’t think Disney either because it has a lot of meaning… but I knew most people would. Which doesn’t totally bother me.
Thank you for your nice comment!
I never thought “Disney”, I just thought it was pretty but perhaps a little bit, um, not serious? [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is gorgeous.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is absolutely lovely! I like it more than [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], actually. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f], if you’d like to avoid the Disney connection?
I love both names and I also love Disney so my first thought was Disney [name_f]Princess[/name_f] which is not a bad thing but personally I wouldn’t use both together because it is a bit [name_f]Princess[/name_f] overload. I prefer [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a first name but I like that you can get the nickname ‘[name_u]Rory[/name_u]’ from [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] which is cute.
The above suggestion of [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] I think is just beautiful!
It does scream Disney however I don’t think this is a bad thing at all.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is a gorgeous name with the lovely meaning ‘dawn’ and I like the [name_u]Rory[/name_u] nickname too. It’s also lovely that [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] holds a special meaning for you. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is also very endearing and sweet I love that she honours your mum that’s really lovely. I think [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is great just very Disney. However you have thought of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a very regal classic and would work better regarding the whole Disney thing. But I don’t think you should ditch [name_f]Belle[/name_f] because she means so much to you. I love the idea of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] works sandwiched between [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and causes the combination to be less Disney and more sophisticated.
My first thought was too disney princess…
I love the sound of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. If you want to use [name_f]Belle[/name_f], what about [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]? This doesn’t seem intentionally disney to me.
Although I don’t mind [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], the attraction to [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is that it means [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], which is someone very important to me. Plus, I like the nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u].
