I am not in any way expecting yet. But I love baby names and have decided on four girl’s names to use should I have a daughter/s. These are my sister-set:
-
[name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
- I’ve always loved Greek Mythology and have always admired the [name_f]Goddess[/name_f] [name_f]Athena[/name_f] and what she stands up for. [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] is from my grandfather – it could be [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], but I love [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] more.
-
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Albertine[/name_f]
- [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is a derivative of my grandmom’s name while [name_f]Albertine[/name_f] is a derivative of my other grandfather’s name.
-
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
- [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is after one of the greatest instructors I had during my college years – she was smart, beautiful, and kind. She was such an inspiration and I love her name! [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] is a [name_m]French[/name_m] name, it’s dainty and unique, plus it is one of the characters from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] who I loved!
-
[name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
- I have always liked the name [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and it’s varieties, but it kind of got too common as time passes by. I stumbled upon [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] and I just love how it sounds strong but feminine. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] means beauty, and of course, I love [name_f]Belle[/name_f] from the Beauty and the Beast.
I do love the name “[name_f]Coraline[/name_f]” as well (it is also a derivative of my other grandma’s name), but I don’t know what to pair it with.
Names I’m considering : [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Monique[/name_f], [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Francine[/name_f], [name_f]Violette[/name_f], and [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. I’m a fan of names that are not too common, but not too out there either. I have a soft spot for [name_m]French[/name_m] names as well.
As for boys, I do not have any certainty about boy’s names. Boys’ names don’t easily come to me. I might have a deal with my future husband to let me name the daughters and him to name the sons. Anyway, these are the best I could come up with. These can be easily crossed off compared to my girls’ one.
- [name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]
- [name_u]Seth[/name_u] [name_m]Friedrich[/name_m] (I like the name [name_u]Seth[/name_u], but again, it’s getting too common out there)
- [name_m]Elton[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (I’ve always loved the name [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], and [name_m]Elton[/name_m] is a derivative of my grandmom’s name)
- [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]
Names I’m considering: [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] (after my dad).
