[name_u]Baby[/name_u] boy due in a few weeks and we’re still not settled on a name (though we didn’t name my daughter until we were in the hospital, so I’m not too worried) Anyway, what do you think about these options…
Our last name is hyphenated and both names are very common (and often used as first names) so I want to avoid last name sounding names and keep the first name on the shorter side.
I’m not sharing with friends and family because I don’t want to hear anyone’s dissent, so I would love some feedback!
I love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_u]River[/name_u]! They’re both really great, distinctive names. [name_u]Shea[/name_u], [name_f]Raine[/name_f] and [name_u]Gael[/name_u] aren’t my thing - I feel like there would be a lot of spelling problems. [name_u]Gale[/name_u] is very handsome, though.
I love [name_u]River[/name_u], [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_u]Shea[/name_u], and I think if [name_u]Gael[/name_u] was spelled [name_u]Gale[/name_u], I’d like that too. Rained has always felt like more of a middle name to me.
I really like [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_u]River[/name_u], but prefer [name_m]Shai[/name_m] to [name_u]Shea[/name_u] and [name_u]Gale[/name_u] to [name_u]Gael[/name_u]. Good luck!
I like [name_u]River[/name_u], [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_u]Gael[/name_u]. [name_u]Shea[/name_u] makes me think of shea butter, and [name_f]Raine[/name_f] sounds made up and too American to me (whether or not it is, I have no idea)
Also, I think that the spelling of [name_u]Gael[/name_u] is much much nicer than the [name_u]Gale[/name_u] suggestion.
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]River[/name_u]! It’s on my guilty pleasure list for boys!
I feel like the rest of your list, although unisex leans more towards the feminine side to me! [name_u]Kit[/name_u] isn’t bad but [name_f]Raine[/name_f] is all girl [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
Good luck!
[name_u]Gael[/name_u] is pretty cool-then [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. I am not a [name_u]River[/name_u] fan at all but I love [name_u]Reeve[/name_u]. (Sort of close)!
