Opinion on Aminta

I’ve been looking at [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] and have really started to like it. I like the nicknames of [name_f]Minta[/name_f], [name_f]Minty[/name_f], and Mint. Though I fear the name would be too clunky and out there.

Can you give me your opinions on this name, please?

I like it.

But I prefer the longer, perhaps even clunkier, [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]

My exact thoughts - [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] is so pretty and unusual, but [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] tops it. [name_f]Minty[/name_f] is adorable.

I love it. I like [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] and [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] almost equally, with [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] coming out slightly on top. I don’t think it need a nickname, but [name_f]Minta[/name_f] is cute.

I would consider [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], if only not for it clashing with the last name (which starts off “Ar” and ends with “ta”). It is for this same reason I won’t use [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], which is sad because both names are so beautiful. So right now I’m liking [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f], with [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] winning out as number one by far.

This

Oh my gosh, [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is fabulous! With your last name, it doesn’t seem to be that much of a change from [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] as far as rhyming goes. I think both are going to rhyme but it doesn’t sound too bad to me.

I love [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] but I have never heard of [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] (don’t like it though).

I like both [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], and [name_f]Aminta[/name_f]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] have a crisp and quirky vibe to me, and [name_f]Minty[/name_f] is an adorable nn!

I had to say both [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] and [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] out-loud, and paired with the last name… And I think that [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] just flows a little bit better, and sounds more like a legit name when started off with the “[name_u]Ara[/name_u]” prefix. Thank you, guys, I’ll change the [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] on my list to [name_f]Araminta[/name_f].

I do prefer [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] but [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] is lovely too. [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] could have [name_u]Ari[/name_u] as a nn. [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] could have [name_f]Amy[/name_f]/[name_f]Ami[/name_f].

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] - nn [name_f]Minta[/name_f]. [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is pretty too, just prefer the slightly shorter more classical version.

Like previous posters, I prefer [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]. But [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] is pretty too! [name_f]Minty[/name_f] is adorable.

Although [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] is nice, I much prefer [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]. It still holds the adorable Mint/[name_f]Mintie[/name_f] nicknames, and has the elegance of [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] as well.

I love [name_f]Aminta[/name_f]! I like [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] as well, but I actually prefer [name_f]Aminta[/name_f]. [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is lovely but just a bit over-the-top, and I think [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] is a bit more easily wearable. [name_f]Minta[/name_f], [name_f]Minty[/name_f], or Mint are all very cute nicknames!

My only issue with [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] is that I’d worry some people would mishear it as the more common [name_f]Amanda[/name_f].

Here’s another vote for [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] nn [name_f]Minty[/name_f]! So cute!

Oh, how I love both [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] and [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]! I’d be more likely to use [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] because [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is a bit long - but the long lush flowiness of [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is just what’s appealing to everyone else. I think either one is a winner!

[name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is a good nickname. My favourite is Minna.
