Hi, I love the name Andrea and I want to know your opinion on the name, (if it is to common or to old fasion) and some middle name ideas you may have. (btw my last name is hispanic so mn like Elizabeth, Margaret, Nicole, Kathleen, etc are of the table)
I like the name [name_u]Andrea[/name_u] when pronounced ahn-DRAY-uh or ahn-DREH-uh. I don’t like the ANN-dree-uh pronunciation nearly as much. I do think it’s a bit dated but that doesn’t bother me personally!
I love the name [name_u]Andrea[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s grandmother is [name_u]Andrea[/name_u], and we have a niece named [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Andrea[/name_u]. I also have a student this year who is about 9 named [name_u]Andrea[/name_u]. I don’t see it as an older name, I think anyone can have that name.
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u] is such a nice name and I have good associations with it. It’s very tied to the 70’s/80’s era, so that’s something to keep in mind. Lots of moms these days are named [name_u]Andrea[/name_u]. But using it on a kid today might seem fresh again.
So my suggestions for ya are:
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u] [name_f]Ximena[/name_f]
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u] [name_f]Mireya[/name_f]
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u] [name_f]Eldoris[/name_f]
Aandrea [name_f]Hermine[/name_f]
