We are thinking of choosing [name]Meredith[/name] for our baby if it is a girl, do you like this name? Is [name]Anne[/name] too plain of a middle name? Any other suggestions? Our last name starts with a T and is two syllables.
[name]Meredith[/name] is so classic itself that I think it needs something more than [name]Anne[/name] to spice it up.
I like [name]Meredith[/name]! [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Anne[/name] is fine, or you could go with [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Annabel[/name].
I like the 3-1-2 rhythm of [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Anne[/name] + T-2 syllable surname. Are you OK with initials [name]MAT[/name]? Not bad, basically neutral, although the doormat thing is maybe annoying.
I think it’s fine but for different initials and as pp said to maybe dress it up a little (while keeping the 3-1-2 flow)
[name]Meredith[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Meredith[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Meredith[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Meredith[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Meredith[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
And more. I like [name]Meredith[/name]!
If ypu like classic sounding one syllable mn’s, maybe you’d also like pearl, may, jane, greer, ruth, [name]Beth[/name], rose, blanche, mame, jewel, or faye?
I love the combination. [name]Anne[/name] is my middle name!
I’m uniquely qualified to answer this question since its actually my name. My spelling is actually [name]Merideth[/name] [name]Ann[/name], but I would reccomend the spelling you mentioned instead. Mine always gets misspelled.
My only criticisms I had about my name were that [name]Ann[/name] felt like a really common middle name, and I was always jealous of girls with names that sounded more feminine. But overall its an easy name to pronounce, familiar but not common, and has never felt overused.
I say go for it!
[name]Meredith[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], as another poster said, is gorgeous! [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Anne[/name] is pretty, but I really like [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Pearl[/name].
Like the warmth of [name]Meredith[/name], but [name]Anne[/name] as a middle is nice but dull for me. [name]Love[/name] the suggestion of [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]! Very pretty
[name]Meredith[/name] was a friend of mine in school. We called her [name]Merri[/name] as a pet name, and she certainly was a merry girl.
[name]Anne[/name] seems rather lack lustre as a MN though.
I have a cousin named [name]Meredith[/name], and I think it’s sorely underused - a great choice! [name]Anne[/name] is ok, but not my favourite - something more spicy would be great!
I think [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Anne[/name] is perfect!
Cpamom, do you have any special criteria for a middle name? Anything else for us to go on? I love [name]Meredith[/name], but I think there might be other middle names out there that would complement it better. [name]Anne[/name] to me is more interesting as a first name than as a middle. Almost radically simple. [name]Anne[/name] [name]Meredith[/name]- could be [name]Annie[/name] as a nick.
I love [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Anne[/name]. I also like the suggestions of [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Belle[/name]. I’ve always like the name [name]Meredith[/name] but I’m not too fond of [name]Merri[/name]/[name]Mary[/name] so I will probably avoid it as a first name, but I really like it. [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is pretty too!
[name]Meredith[/name] is beautiful!
