Opinion on June?

I’m just curious what everyone’s thoughts on this name are?

I love [name_u]June[/name_u]! It feels a bit retro and is definitely ready for a comeback. I like that it is nickname-proof other than adding “ie” to the end for [name_f]Junie[/name_f] and that is sweet as well.

I like it. It has a cheerful hopeful vibe without creating explicit expectations for a child’s temperament. It underused but classic and recognizable. I can imagine it working well on someone of any age. I would love to meet a [name_u]June[/name_u]! I don’t think I ever have.

[name_u]June[/name_u] has a sweet, happy-go-lucky sound to me. It reminds me a bit of flowers and picnics in the summer. I like it!

[name_u]June[/name_u] is very pretty, reminds me of the [name_f]Junie[/name_f] B. [name_m]Jones[/name_m] books, they were my favorite. [name_f]Summer[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] would make a great sibset

I love [name_u]June[/name_u]! Also [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]

I love [name_u]June[/name_u]! It is gently vintage but not dated, and I think it is a bright, sweet name.

I have a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] nn [name_u]June[/name_u], so I’m biased, but I love it! She goes by [name_u]June[/name_u] 90% of the time, and sometimes I think maybe we should’ve just gone with it instead of [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. But anyway, [name_u]June[/name_u] is great! I introduce her as [name_u]June[/name_u] a lot of the time, and we get tons of compliments.

I used it for one of my daughter’s middle names so I love it! To me it has a bit of a 1950s feel–[name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Allyson[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u] Cleaver, [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] [name_m]Cash[/name_m]. It’s a sweet name.

[name_u]June[/name_u] is my favorite name because it makes me happy every time I hear it or see it. It has very bright imagery, and I like that it is easy to pronounce and spell. And I like that it is a word name with a strong history of use as a given name, just like my name.

My [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is 1 week old and we love her name. We’re calling her [name_f]Juni[/name_f] most of the time but I also love [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f]. It’s got a cute vintage vibe and we have had so many complements on her name.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it. Sweet and pretty.

[name_u]June[/name_u] is really sweet and I agree with others that it’s just a very bright and happy name.

[name_u]June[/name_u]'s definitely a grower for me. Up until a couple of years ago I found it quite dated. I had gradually started to understand its appeal and then last year I became acquainted with a preschool-aged [name_u]June[/name_u] who was just the sweetest little girl, and that sold me. [name_u]June[/name_u] is sunny and playful without being childish, and it works just as well on a 5-year-old as on a 50-year-old.
