Opinions-Anna Claire

[name]Hi[/name], this is my first post on here but I love reading everyone else’s and all the suggestions! I have one little question- do you think that double names such as [name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name] are too popular? I think [name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is perfect and beautiful but I know a couple of other babies with the double name thing. So-too popular or do I just happen to know a couple girls with similar names?

To be honest, the only person I know with a double-name is my bff, [name]Marie[/name]-[name]Claire[/name]. And I’ve only really seen it popular with the French (which she is).
[name]Anna[/name]-[name]Claire[/name] is beautiful and very cute, and somehow even though separately they’re common names, together they just sound fantastic. I also like [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Maria[/name]. It flows so beautifully together!

Thank you so much!

I’m not sure about double names- I like the way that they sound but I feel like people never know if the person has two middle names or one first… Hmmm.

In regard to [name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name]- while I think that both names are very pretty and I can see where you’re coming from I’m going to be honest and say that when I read them together/say them aloud I hear “An Eclair”. yummy but not something I would want to be named. At least not as an official double first name. I’m not sure if you’d thought about that.

There is a young actress named AnnaSophia [name]Robb[/name] and I think that’s gorgeous together. My mother in law is [name]Anne[/name] [name]Marie[/name]-pronounced [name]Annamarie[/name] since she is dutch but she only goes by [name]Anne[/name].

Good luck!

The only people I have personally known with double names are my cousin, [name]Mary[/name] [name]Lois[/name], and my mother, [name]Mary[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. ([name]Edit[/name]: I’ve known an [name]Anne[/name] [name]Marie[/name] or two in school too.) I do not see double names as common at all. [name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is one of the prettiest double names I have ever heard! You really found a winner with this combination!

[name]Edit[/name]: At hearing [name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name], I would never have thought of “an eclair.”

[name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is pretty.

I don’t know a single person with a double name, actually…

[name]Anna[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is very pretty. If it were me I would make [name]Anna[/name] the fn and [name]Claire[/name] the mn and then just call her by both. I dont see the point of having them both being first names. You could always add a second mn if you wanted to.

I like it

Double names with [name]Anna[/name] (or [name]Ana[/name]) are really common in the hispanic community.

[name]Ana[/name] [name]Maria[/name]
[name]Ana[/name] [name]Cristina[/name]
[name]Ana[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Maria[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Maria[/name] [name]Cristina[/name]
[name]Maria[/name] [name]Gabriela[/name]

My personal favorite is [name]Anna[/name] [name]Carolina[/name] (ca-ro-lee-naw).

I know people with all of those names. The only problem tends to be that many times it turns into people calling them just the first name, specially in school.
