what are your opinions on girls having two middle names? i love it, but i’m not sure if its too unique
for example i really like [name]Holly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Faith[/name] , even though that is 2 virtue names , so im not sure i would use that. i was originially thinking one of the 2 middle names would be a virtue and the other not a virtue. something like lea ariel hope… opinions?
I don’t mind two middle names, if they are the right names. I don’t think two virtue names as the two mns sounds right.
I think having two middle names is totally fine, and it’s becoming increasingly common.
I wouldn’t recommend using [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Faith[/name] in the same combo however. Having two virtue names sounds corny to me.
I have two middle names, and while I’ve got no problem with it in theory, I agree that the names should be short if possible. All three of my names are on the longer side, and it’s a pain to always be running out of space.
Also, in practice, generally only the first middle name gets any use. So, like, if you want two middle names so you can include a family name you don’t really like, make sure that one comes second 
Also agree on a limit of one ‘virtue’ name per child, but I’m a crank who isn’t a big fan of them in general anyway. I like [name]Grace[/name] better than [name]Faith[/name], though.
I think it is too much. But in your case it just seem excessive. [name]Grace[/name] [name]Faith[/name]…?! [name]How[/name] about just [name]Holly[/name] [name]Faith[/name] or [name]Holly[/name] [name]Grace[/name]?? :)… Much better! Lol. GL
I agree with pp’s the combo of [name]Faith[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] in one name is a little much.
I’d choose one and save the other for a future child.
I don’t think it’s too unique! I think it’s a great idea and very cool. 
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Faith[/name] is a nice one! I do agree with some people though that two virtue names as mn’s might not be the best. Those three names have a nice ring together so it’s fine. I also like these:
[name]Harriet[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Faith[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Laurel[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Faith[/name] [name]Grace[/name]

It doesn’t flow. I also agree with others that [name]Grace[/name] [name]Faith[/name] is a bit much.
I think having two middle names is fine, but they shouldn’t be very long. [name]Holly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Faith[/name] is the right length, but imagine having a name like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]McGuire[/name]. It is just way too long. I also agree that two virtue names is a bit much, but I love the name [name]Grace[/name] and it would be very pretty with another middle name.
I plan on giving all my children two MNs (boy or girl!). I love the idea. It’s an old family tradition I’d like to get back to, and I just love the idea of it (plus, I have a plethora of other reasons to use to convince my future hypothetical hubby if he ever doesn’t want to go for it. :)). It allows me to honor family while still using two names I really love. I agree, though–I wouldn’t use two virtue names together, and I wouldn’t use two one-syllable names together, either. [name]Holly[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is fine, and [name]Holly[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is fine, but I wouldn’t do [name]Holly[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Joy[/name], because [name]Jane[/name] [name]Joy[/name] sounds quite stunted to me (although I’m such a hypocrite, because in certain places, I love the 1-1 flow–I love the idea of [name]Eve[/name]-[name]Claire[/name] as a double barrel first name!).
