What variation to you like most (or hate least)?
What’s you impression of the names?
Well [name_u]Curtis[/name_u] is my hubbys name!
He goes by [name_m]Curt[/name_m]. Everyone always spells his name [name_m]Kurt[/name_m], and he wishes that was his name, not [name_u]Curtis[/name_u]. So I vote for:
[name_m]Kurt[/name_m]!
I work with a [name_m]Kurtis[/name_m].
He’s a great guy, so I’m inclined to like it, although it’s not something I like enough to really want to use it up front. If it had significance for me, I’d probably use it as a middle, though.
It’s classic and respectable. I feel like I should prefer [name_u]Curtis[/name_u], since it seems more timeless, but since meeting the [name_m]Kurtis[/name_m] I work with, I think that’s my preference now. I like [name_u]Curtis[/name_u]/[name_m]Kurtis[/name_m] more than the shorter [name_m]Curt[/name_m]/[name_m]Kurt[/name_m].
Good luck!
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u] is the form that “feels best” I can’t think of a more tangible way to put it. So, [name_u]Curtis[/name_u]!
I like [name_u]Curtis[/name_u] and [name_m]Kurt[/name_m] the best. [name_m]Curt[/name_m] seems, well, curt and [name_m]Kurtis[/name_m] looks like creative spelling to me (I realize it is the [name_m]German[/name_m] spelling and isn’t). So if you were going to use the whole name I’d go [name_u]Curtis[/name_u] and if you were calling him [name_m]Kurt[/name_m]/[name_m]Curt[/name_m] I’d use the K.
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u] is my favorite.
I totally agree.
