So we are having our first girl after three boys- [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. I think we’ve settled on [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for the first name but it’s been more difficult to find a middle name that we both love. Dh doesn’t like names that he hasn’t heard of before (and he doesn’t trawl the internet for names like I do so he’s heard of considerably less names than I have!)
Short list-
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] ([name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is super common here in Australia. But this is dh’s fav)
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (probably my favourite. I adore [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and always have).
I think all of the middle names in your list are lovely, I just can’t get over the fact that they all flow better with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a middle name!
Sorry, not sure if that’s an option for you. [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a lovely subset for what it’s worth!
Everything seems to flow better with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as the middle name because it’s just one syllable. It’s been so difficult trying to think of any that feel right. I’m pretty set on [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for first though
I really like the lovely and simple [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name. I also like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] mainly for this very reason, that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so darn hard to pair. All of your
choices are lovely, btw.
Of your choice I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] the best and might even prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f].
I’ll suggest [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] & [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] would be my votes! Can’t chose between the 2; love em both!
Wow–[name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a pretty fantastic sibset!
I like the flow of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] best, but you can’t go wrong with a classic name [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. Your faves are my top 2 as well, so no tie breaker here. sorry! I also love the suggestion of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]–a bit more than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. Seems a bit more sophisticated/less frilly.
I had the same problem when we were considering [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for a girl’s name (though we ended up with a boy!) - literally everything sounded better when [name_f]Rose[/name_f] was in the middle! It’s frustrating. From your list, my favorite is [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], though the suggestion of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] is also lovely. To me, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] seems to wordy, as in a rose and a clementine orange. I may be the only one, though, so if it’s your favorite then don’t worry about me!
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] does sound the very best. [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] descriptive, but since [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so hard to pair, go with it! [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] might work - it sounds lovely and lends itself to [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] would be my pick. I like the blend of a name with history like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] with a more adventurous MN.
Yes^^ I feel the same! I would like a more quirky middle name since [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so classic and sweet. I am so glad that most people seem to like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. I did think about the fact that it’s two words but [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] here (in [name_m]OZ[/name_m]) is not used as word for a fruit really so I think I’d be safe using it. I do like [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] too. Hadn’t considered that. [name_m]Will[/name_m] put it on the list. I like a lot of the other suggestions too and have thought of most of them but have emilinated a lot of them for various reasons. So I guess it’s down I [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]! I’ve always wanted to use the name [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] so I think that’s the way we’ll go. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if dh needs a little convincing
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] are both very pretty! I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] too but it doesn’t have as much sparkle as the other two names.
I adore [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] would be my favourite - absolutely stunning! On my list I’ve also had [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. Good luck!
