Opinions on my names?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there, Berries. I’ve had a list of names for awhile and was wondering what you thought about em. I hope you can help me find better combinations or just to hear your opinion on mine.

[name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f]
First off; I know [name_m]Myles[/name_m] isn’t a girls name in [name_u]America[/name_u], but I come from the Netherlands and to me it’s Always felt like a girls name (I only recently found out it wasn’t), so I’d love to hear your opinions on the combination as a whole, regardless of the fact wether or not you think [name_m]Myles[/name_m] is a boys name. [name_m]Myles[/name_m] is a name I’ve Always loved, [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a name I started liking because of the [name_m]Doctor[/name_m] Who character and [name_f]Summer[/name_f] is a name I fell for recently.

[name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_u]Shay[/name_u] is a name I’ve Always loved, I like [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] because it feels very international and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is because of my idol [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_m]Hale[/name_m].

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] is (I do have a lot of names I loved for awhile, it’s boring I know) a name I’ve loved for a long time and I think it’s sounds very sweet, [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] is a name that sounds very strong to me (plus I like that it’s unusual) and [name_f]Aria[/name_f] sounds spunky and just a bit different, which I love.

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u]
I love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], because it’s a nature name and I really like those, [name_f]Jane[/name_f] just seems like a strong (plus literary) name and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] just fits the other two really well.

Now for the boys:

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]
I’ve wanted to name my son [name_u]Max[/name_u] ever since I was able to talk, I love the name [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] because it seems so laidback and relaxed and [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] is a name that I like a lot in both English and Dutch, which makes it a perfect middle.

[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] is name that I used to match with [name_u]Max[/name_u], but I started to love it on its own because it’s an Irish name, short and strong. I just love the sound of [name_m]Levi[/name_m] and I feel like unisex [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] completes the set.

[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] is a name I love because it’s vintage, I like [name_m]Judah[/name_m] a lot because it sounds good and because it’s strong and I love [name_u]River[/name_u] because it’s a nature name.

[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]
I like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] a lot because it’s preppy and fun (plus it’s Irish), [name_m]Joe[/name_m] seems like a grounded middle and I think [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is really cute because it means [name_u]Lucky[/name_u].

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] ‘’[name_m]Eli[/name_m]’’ [name_m]Rune[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
I love [name_m]Eli[/name_m] because to me (Again, from the Netherlands) it seemed like an unique name (and I still love it even though it really isn’t), I like [name_m]Rune[/name_m] because it sounds so mysterious and [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] because it’s literary.

Thanks in advance for helping me

Myles Clara Summer - I like the name Myles and I don’t see why you can’t use it for a girl. Is the Myles spelling more popular where you are? If not, I just like plain Miles. I like Miles Clara but Summer doesn’t suit them.

Shay Sofia Lucy - I don’t care for Shay but I can see the appeal of how soft it is. I love Sofia and Lucy. They all go well together.

Lily Cressida Aria - a winner. All pretty, all go well together. Cressida is so unique

Hazel Jane Eden - Love Hazel Jane but not Eden and I don’t think it fits with the other two very well.

Max Ezra Jesse - Adorable but not sure how well they fit together–seems kinda stilted.

Finn Levi Spencer - I like them together but also the flow just doesn’t seem right. I do think it’s hard to find 3 middle names that flow though, maybe that’s what I’m having trouble with.

Percy Judah River - Percy Judah is cute and I love River but not sure about how it goes with Percy. Judah River works

Rory Joe Felix - Cute! Again with the flow, but maybe this is just me?

Elijah ‘‘Eli’’ Rune Sawyer - Like the Lily combo, this one works best. I like all the names and they sound great together.

Ideas:
Myles Clara Lucy/Lucy Clara
Myles Clara Jane
Myles Lucy Sofia
Hazel Clara Jane
Lucy Summer Jane
Sofia Clara Jane
Lucy Clara Jane
Lucy Hazel Jane
I think going with Jane as the third name will help make the combos flow best. A single syllable name gives the combos closure.

River Judah Finn
Judah River Finn
Rory Judah Finn
Max Elijah Sawyer
Max Elijah Joe
Finn Elijah Joe
Elijah Sawyer Finn
I like Finn and Joe at the end here too. Overall just ignore me if you like the flow of your combos. I’m not the best at making them! I like these names!

[name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] - I’m having a hard time getting past [name_m]Myles[/name_m] on a girl, sorry. It flows well though.

[name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - This is nice!

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f] - By far my favorite on your girl’s list! It’s beautiful and distinctive.

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u] - I love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but [name_u]Eden[/name_u] feels a bit forced at the end.

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] - A nice name but feels a bit choppy.

[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] - This is nice!

[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u] - My favorite of your boy’s names. I adore this.

[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] - I like this!

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] ‘’[name_m]Eli[/name_m]’’ [name_m]Rune[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] - Another great choice!

Overall, the things that bother me about your combos are more stylistic than anything. Your favorites feel choppy to my American ear, but I think they would be right at home in the UK.

[name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] - I think I could like [name_m]Myles[/name_m] as a girl name, but I prefer the [name_m]Miles[/name_m] spelling. [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] has a nice flow and goes really well together, but [name_f]Summer[/name_f] kind of feels tacked on

[name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - Not a fan of [name_u]Shay[/name_u], but [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is pretty

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f] - Although I like all of these names individually, especially [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], they don’t seem to fit very well with one another. The combo sounds a little off - maybe just rearrange it a bit?

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u] - Like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f], I like the names, but it sounds too randomly thrown together. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] flows better in my opinion

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] - [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] has always been a favorite of mine, but I don’t think it goes very well with [name_u]Max[/name_u] or [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]. And as I’ve never liked the name [name_u]Jesse[/name_u], I find it very hard to get into this name. It just sounds too choppy. Sorry

[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m] but I don’t think this combo works very well. [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] is nice, or [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], but all three names together just don’t fit

[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u] - Its all right, though [name_m]Judah[/name_m] isn’t really my style. The flow is nice and the combo works well

[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] - [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] are cute and go really well together, but I’m not a fan of [name_m]Joe[/name_m]. It feels random and there are plenty of other “grounded middles” that go far better with this set

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] ‘’[name_m]Eli[/name_m]’’ [name_m]Rune[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] - My favorite from your list. [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is a longtime favorite and [name_m]Rune[/name_m] is an interesting, unique middle that works well. [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] isn’t exactly at the top of my list of names but it works

I like all (they’re not personal favourites but I think they’re nice names) but the [name_m]Myles[/name_m] and [name_u]Shay[/name_u] combos, I think when taking a name from another language one should respect the gender of the name. Maybe [name_f]Myla[/name_f] nn [name_m]Myles[/name_m]?
[name_u]Shay[/name_u] to me just doesn’t sound feminine at all and clashes with the middle names but also with the rest of your style (as does [name_m]Myles[/name_m]), which seems to be quite feminine.

Good or bad flow of the combo depends on your last name as I’d personally want to switch [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] in the [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] combo, however, if you have a one-syllable last name, it might sound very choppy and your original combo sounds better.

I disagree with the previous poster. Names are just words, regardless of what language they come from. There is no such thing as cultural appropriation unless it is intended in a mocking/offensive way. I don’t see anything offensive about a name, unless it’s [name_m]Adolf[/name_m]/[name_m]Adolph[/name_m] or Osama, maybe. Or [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] on a boy (I would point anyone considering this name for a boy to [name_m]Artemas[/name_m]/[name_m]Artemus[/name_m] and then force them to read some mythology)

[name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f]: I really do love the sound of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f]. Looks pretty. [name_m]Myles[/name_m] feels a bit off with it in the combo I think I prefer [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] for a whole combo.

[name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]: [name_u]Shay[/name_u] is so pretty! It’s very feminine to me~ I think I prefer the sound of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Shay[/name_u].

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f]: I love [name_f]Aria[/name_f], though not the flow of the combo. Maybe [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f]?

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f]! Again, the flow is weird, but that might be because I always thought that [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and cousin [name_f]Enid[/name_f] feel wierd in my mouth even though both sound pretty (especially [name_f]Enid[/name_f]) said by other people.

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]: I’ll have to look up how [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] is said in Dutch because the way you worded it it sounded like it’s pron differently in the Netherlands.~ Anyway, I think I like [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m].

[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]. Again, flow feels off. [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Finn[/name_u]?

[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this entire combo, love [name_u]Percy[/name_u] especially!

[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]: See previous name~ [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]~

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] ‘’[name_m]Eli[/name_m]’’ [name_m]Rune[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]: [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is nms but I love [name_m]Rune[/name_m] and [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]. The combo flows well~

[name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f]: Sorry, I find [name_m]Myles[/name_m] jarring, too. Is it that [name_m]Myles[/name_m] is used for a girl in the Netherlands, or that it’s just not used there at all, and so you just assumed it was a girls’ name? It doesn’t sound feminine to me at all, and should she ever travel to the UK, Australia, [name_f]Canada[/name_f], the US, etc., I would expect her to have a significant amount of problems, especially if it’s just her FN and surname listed on her paperwork. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] is nice, though.
[name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]: I’ve always loved your [name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] combo–it seems summery and sweet, and though [name_u]Shay[/name_u]/[name_u]Shea[/name_u] can be a boys’ name, it’s considered fairly unisex here, to my knowledge. My first experience with it was a guy, but my second was a girl. I’ve always seen [name_u]Shay[/name_u] as the girls’ name and [name_u]Shea[/name_u] as the boys, for some reason. I’m not keen on [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], personally, but that’s just taste. I think [name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is really nice.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f]: I really love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] (so spunky and cute!), but [name_f]Aria[/name_f] doesn’t flow well after it, imo. I think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] or [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would be much better. I’m not an [name_f]Aria[/name_f] fan, in general, and in the combo, though. Unless you do [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], I feel like [name_f]Aria[/name_f] just messes up the flow and style of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f]?
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u]: love all three names, but would switch the order to [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I think it flows much better.
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]: I love [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] (although I think I’d like [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] more), but [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] throws me off. It seems stylistically different, and I’m not keen on the flow of [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u], either. I think something like [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] or [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] wound flow better. I’ve never been keen on the two-two syllable flow, though.
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]: still not super-keen on the one-two-two flow, but I do like all three names. I’m just not terribly fond of them together, I guess? I’m being picky, I know. Sorry!
[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u]: I really dislike the two-two-two flow, personally, but I think that’s because I have a two-syllable surname and I think it sounds so boring and like someone’s just plodding along and bored out of their minds. I do love all three names individually, and together, though! I would love to meet brothers named [name_u]Percy[/name_u], [name_m]Judah[/name_m], and [name_u]River[/name_u].
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]: It’s okay, and I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] [name_u]Rory[/name_u], the nn [name_m]Joe[/name_m], and the meaning of [name_m]Felix[/name_m], but I think I’d much rather see [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] or something. I can’t wrap my mind around the idea of just [name_m]Joe[/name_m]. I do love it as a nn, though, and otherwise I love the combo!
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Rune[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]: not keen on [name_m]Eli[/name_m] as a nn, but I don’t like the Biblical namesake, either. The only suggestion I’d make is to switch it to [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] [name_m]Rune[/name_m], which flows better, imo.

My favorites are [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u], and [name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!

[name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f]- I agree with cactusgram: I don’t see why [name_m]Myles[/name_m] can’t be used on a girl. It’s a nice name and with the many people using [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl, why not [name_m]Myles[/name_m]? The middle names [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Summer[/name_f] are really pretty.

[name_u]Shay[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]- I don’t love the name [name_u]Shay[/name_u] but [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] is beautiful. I’m not sure about the flow here, maybe it is because [name_u]Shay[/name_u] is one syllable? Yes, [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]Shay[/name_u] sounds better.

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f]- I too think this one is the best. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is classic and simple, [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] balances out the popularity of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f] is melodic. The problem is that [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] ends with a while [name_f]Aria[/name_f] starts with a and it makes it sound like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] Cressidaria. I prefer the flow of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Ria[/name_f] or [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] if you like [name_f]Aria[/name_f].

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u]- [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] names. They are very classy. I think the flow is good.

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]- I too think it sounds choppy. I would recommend [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]Max[/name_u] instead. I really like the names [name_u]Max[/name_u] (as a nickname) and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] but not so much together.

[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]- Really cool sounding.
I don’t care for [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] but I don’t think the flow is bad.

[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u]- I quite like this combination. I like [name_u]Percy[/name_u] on its own for a boy but as a nickname for [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] or Persistence (GP!) on a girl.

[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]- I love [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. Nice combination.

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Rune[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]- My favorite out of your boys combinations! The flow is great and although it is made up of names I don’t really like it makes a good combination altogether.

Your welcome
