I’ve been wanting to honor my grandparents through a name for a long time and haven’t been able to find the perfect name to honor either of them with. [name]Barbara[/name] is my grandma’s name, [name]Richard[/name] is my grandpa’s. However, my grandpa was in the military and went by his last name for it, and it stuck ever since. Their last name is Nicastro, and my grandpa goes by [name]Nick[/name]. I was thinking of using it as a middle name for a name… what do you think? I haven’t been able to find a first name for it yet though.
And I have two girls names I’d love middle names for. I really love Irish names, and [name]Saoirse[/name] is definitely my favorite (pronounced SARE-sha, sare rhyming with stare). I can entirely imagine myself using the name in the future, as long as my SO is okay with it. So far his only opinion is it sounds nice. Same with [name]Aoife[/name], pronounced EE-fah. Almost like [name]Eva[/name] except softer. Me and my SO already have [name]Eva[/name] on our list and we like it, but I just love how soft [name]Aoife[/name] sounds! I know he’s so far okay with it. I’d just love it if you ladies could suggest middle names for [name]Saoirse[/name] and [name]Aoife[/name], or even [name]Eva[/name] as we don’t have any middle names for it yet <3 Jade and Charlotte are some family names we would like to use, though Saoirse Charlotte clashes and Saoirse Jade sounds harsh. Aoife Charlotte is okay, Aoife Jade works… but I’d still like other suggestions
Thanks so much for all help!!
