We just found out we are having another little boy. The only name we have agreed on is Lowen (pronounced like [name]Owen[/name]) [name]North[/name]. We tend to like unique names but not super crazy ones and we like to use a word name for our kids middle names. Our other children are [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Ryder[/name], [name]Eden[/name] [name]Summer[/name] and [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Stone[/name]. Please let me know what you think of Lowen [name]North[/name] and if you think that it fits with the other kids names Thanks!
A potential problem I see with Lowen [name]North[/name] is that it kind of sounds like part of a weather forecast…
“Low & [name]North[/name]…”. I really like your other children’s names & I think Lowen goes nicely with them.
I do like the first name Lowen, too. Perhaps another middle name would be a better fit phonetically, however?
Some ideas:
Lowen [name]Hawk[/name]
Lowen [name]Marvel[/name]
Lowen [name]Maverick[/name]
Lowen [name]Nash[/name]
Lowen [name]Flint[/name]
Lowen [name]Duke[/name]
Lowen [name]Sterling[/name]
Lowen Strider
Lowen [name]Shepherd[/name]
Lowen [name]Royce[/name]
Lowen [name]Hunt[/name]
Lowen [name]Brook[/name]/[name]Brooks[/name]
Lowen [name]Jet[/name]/[name]Jett[/name]
Lowen [name]Slate[/name]
Lowen [name]Springer[/name]
Lowen [name]Colt[/name]
Lowen [name]Tripp[/name]
Lowen [name]Rhodes[/name]
Lowen [name]Reed[/name]
Lowen [name]Phoenix[/name]

Lowen [name]Park[/name]
Lowen Rhone (/[name]Roan[/name])
Lowen [name]Ridge[/name]
Lowen [name]Night[/name]

- I hope you like some of these. With the first name of Lowen & the mn a word name, I would definitely try to word out (literally!) any mn’s that would not sound good with “Low and …”.
Best of luck, and I really dig your naming style!

agree with dancersventure… Lowen [name]North[/name] does sound like “Low and [name]North[/name]” :-/
I like the short N middle name following Lowen, but perhaps not something that could describe weather or direction?
I like [name]Nash[/name]!
Lowen is a little to close to [name]Lincoln[/name] for my tastes.
Other suggestions ([name]Josiah[/name], [name]Eden[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name] and):
[name]Griffin[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Thatcher[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Archer[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Mahlon[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Cyrus[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Samson[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Gideon[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Baxter[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Calder[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Hollis[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Palmer[/name] [name]North[/name]
Lowen. I like the sound. It makes me think of [name]Owen[/name], [name]Coen[/name] Brothers, [name]Logan[/name], [name]Lindsay[/name] Lohen, and lions ([name]German[/name] word Loewen, pronounced differently). I think it’s nice, but runs into your last name. This isn’t the end of the world and [name]Lincoln[/name] is working for you no doubt. But, [name]Lincoln[/name] is a much more recognizable name, so if people hear “Linka [name]North[/name]”, they probably solve for [name]Lincoln[/name]. I worry Lowen [name]North[/name] would sound like [name]Loa[/name] [name]North[/name]. Of course, that’s fixable if it happens.
You have some good suggestions here already. With [name]Josiah[/name], [name]Eden[/name], and [name]Lincoln[/name], I could also add…
[name]Leo[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Lionel[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Leander[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Louis[/name]/[name]Lewis[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Alaric[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Conrad[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Cormac[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Malcolm[/name] [name]North[/name]
[name]Callum[/name] [name]North[/name]
Best wishes!
Thanks for your replies. I will take the weather forecast thing into consideration Also, [name]North[/name] is not our last name, it’s the middle name we were thinking about. Our last name is [name]Watson[/name] if that helps at all.
[name]Ah[/name], that seems obvious now, thanks for clarifying! Well, that takes away that particular concern from Lowen mostly : D! Best wishes as you make your choice!
