I have the same problem, especially in the boys forum, no responses unless there is a poll. I try to comment on every thread unless I would not be of any help but I guess most don’t.

I definitely prefer [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name]. I love the way the “ph” connects both names! Zarex remind me a lot of Xerox for some reason even though they look nothing alike, I guess it is all in the sound. Drakon is nice and this probably would not matter for a MN but I would definitely pronounce this wrong without help. I would say Drak-un (rhyming with Dragon).

I really appreciate that you take the time to comment [name]Lindsey[/name]. I always get frustrated coming on here when I actually want help and I take the time to respond to everything I’ll be of help in, but others don’t have the same courtesy. It’s okay though, that’s what the poll option is for.

And yea, I understand about Drakon. Greek names tend to be pronounced differently than what people expect. For example, I love [name]Thalia[/name], but everyone on here pronounces it The-lee-uh and nameberry wants it pronounced tahl-yuh but the Greek pronunciation is thay-lee-uh  That’s why i provide the pronunciation.

I voted for [name]Phoenix[/name]; my first association with the name is definitely the mythical creature and not the city. Drakon isn’t bad, but I would prefer [name]Drake[/name] or [name]Draco[/name]. Zarex sounds like a medication… Xanax, maybe.

I like Zarex. [name]Phoenix[/name] is too normal.
