Opinions on Samuel?

We are pretty sure if our little one (not finding out gender) is a boy, that we will name him [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Alonso[/name_m].

What are your opinions on the name?

I’m always having second thoughts. I’m so indecisive!

We picked out [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], because it works well in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Big brothers are:
[name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] [name_m]Joaquin[/name_m]
[name_m]Cristian[/name_m] [name_m]Tiago[/name_m]
[name_m]Matias[/name_m] [name_m]Alejandro[/name_m]

[name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] [name_m]Diego[/name_m]

Does [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Alonso[/name_m] go with big brothers names?

First off, [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Alonso[/name_m] is gorgeous! He goes fabulously with his big brothers.

Secondly, I adore [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]. He’s in my top 5-ish (my list is very fluid right now lol), and I love everything about him! I would love to either know or have a little [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]!

[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is a great name. I know twin boys called [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and [name_m]Mattias[/name_m] and they’re the sweetest so that helps with the association as well for me. :slight_smile:

I love [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] too. It certainly is not rare, but it a lovely classic.

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] classic name! The combo [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Alonso[/name_m] is gorgeous. My only problem would be the basically unavoidable nickname ‘[name_u]Sam[/name_u]’ but if you’re fine with that then it’s perfect :slight_smile:

I’ve always loved [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] too! I have never met a [name_u]Sam[/name_u] that I haven’t liked.

I love the name [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] so much! And [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Alonso[/name_m] is a beautiful combination. I’d use it for one of my own children, but it’s my brothers middle name so that rules it out for me unfortunately :frowning:
