What do you think of the name [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]? I also like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] but it’s a very popular name
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is sweet and friendly! It feels elegant yet down to earth.
I do feel with the popularity of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] people may occasionally think that is her name (I grew up as [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] got super popular and I know my parents could never remember which of my friends were named [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] versus Sophie). But I think it’s a lovely name and great choice regardless!
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] as a nn just to have that more formal option later in life.
Personally I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is just as popular as [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] but you could always use [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] on the b/c & then simply use [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] in every day life & in places like school.
I really like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]! She’s sweet, chic, and cozy. I definitely like it more than [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], which has always felt a tad bit prissy to me
I prefer sweet [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] on her own! [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] feels quite overly frilly and popular to me, but [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] remains a lovely, gentle, pretty name. I like her softness and sunniness!
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]:
I love Sophie!! Sooo sweet and beautiful I love how it has such a friendly soft down to earth vibe. I also love [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and find myself gling back and forth on these two names and soo difficult to choose between!
I love [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]! It reminds me of Howl’s Moving [name_m]Castle[/name_m] by [name_f]Diana[/name_f] Wynne-Jones, one of my favorite books. Because of that, it has a sweet, whimsical feel to me. But I think you couldn’t go wrong with either name, [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]! Both are quite popular.
Sophie has massively grown on me she’s so sweet, delicate, pretty and feels very classic. I think Sophie ages well and would suit a range of personalities.
I do prefer Sophia just because I prefer the Hollywood glamour behind the name.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is lovely - sophisticated and sweet but strong too
I adore [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].
the same as @tori101, sophie has massively grown on me recently! even though she is very, very common in my area (i know 20+), she is so lovely and delicate. sophie feels very pretty and sweet, but can suit so many different personalities. i can see a very popular, confident, sporty and sassy sophie, but also a sweet, innocent, bookish and shy little sophie.
i prefer sophie to sophia/sofia, but you can’t go wrong with either!
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] are some of my favorite names.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is gentle, friendly but also sophisticated. I can see her anywhere, whether it’s spending the afternoon at the library, at a motocross competition or getting dressed up for a charity event, she’s very versatile. She’s not tied to a specific aesthetic or imagery which is why I love her so.
I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]! I definitely see it as a youthful name but one that grows and isn’t just for little kids
I prefer the [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] to [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] spelling but I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] equally
I think all of them are in a similar range of popularity (top 100) so I say go with what you love most because they’re all beautiful
It’s a cute name and has a pretty sound to it! I’m not a fan of it though just because of how popular it is. I’ve met SO MANY Sophia/Sophie lately and I just wouldn’t want to use a name that’s so common currently.
i love sophie so much, and sophia’s really grown on me as well! she’s so classic and elegant and light! i really adore her <3
