[name_f]Padma[/name_f] is such a beautiful name, so I voted for [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], as well as Archana (that combo is beautiful) and Vyomini. I might be off on the pronunciation of Vyomini, but it seems like it could lend itself to some cute nicknames.

I love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f]. Your combos are gorgeous.

@ccmrath: Thank you! Vyomini is pronounced “VYOH-mih-nee” so it’s pretty intuitive, I think? I had thought of [name_f]Vi[/name_f] or [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] for nicknames.

@books_and_tea: Thanks for the compliment! [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is one of my all time favorites.

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] are just ravishing! I also adore [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f], but I’m super biased.

These are gorgeous! So refreshing to see some beautiful [name_f]Indian[/name_f] names on the site today. I adore [name_f]Padma[/name_f] and Padmini.

I voted for Archana Padmini [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f]. But I think [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] might be my favourite: it’s the perfect blend of modern and traditional, familiar and exotic, and honouring both parts of your heritage. [name_m]Just[/name_m] beautiful!

I think [name_f]Rajani[/name_f] is stunning!!

I agree with @katinka, it’s refreshing to see some [name_f]Indian[/name_f] names on this website. I have known an Archana and I always thought her name was interesting, but people stumbled over it a bit in the US when trying to say it aloud. I can’t get over how pretty [name_f]Rajani[/name_f] is, so she gets my vote!

@thefairophelia: [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] is a great name! Your daughter’s name is lovely, so whimsical.

@katinka and silversky: Thank you both! I’m happy to see the [name_f]Indian[/name_f] names getting some love here. Unfortunately there are only ten options available for polls or I would’ve posted even more, haha. It’s pretty much obligatory for us to use [name_f]Padma[/name_f] somewhere for our first daughter because it was my husband’s late grandmother’s name, but I’d also love to use Apsara, Iraa, Mohini, Nishka… tons of great ones.

[name_f]Padma[/name_f] is gorgeous!

[name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is beautiful, and double meaningful apparently
Archana Padmini [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is also a top pick for me. With [name_m]Archer[/name_m] rising in popularity, it has a familiar feel while still being original and spunky. I might have just fallen in love here. Archana [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] wouldo also be beautiful.
The last one that got my vote was [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Karine[/name_f] - [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] and [name_f]Padma[/name_f] just click together, and it just feels magical and sweet.

Not to say your other options aren’t good, because there’s gorgeousness all around here, and this is quite hard!

You’ve got some lovely names on that list. My favorite, in order, are [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f].

@oren and ceilidh: Thank you for the nice comments. I totally agree about [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] being a bit magical! That combo actually has sort of a triple meaning for us because the color lavender is historically symbolic to the LGBTQ+ movement and we are a same-sex couple. It’s probably my favorite one as of right now, but it’s tough to choose. Luckily naming a child isn’t actually imminent just yet!

[name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is my favourite - lovely flow, and the exotic [name_f]Padma[/name_f] is both integrated and tastefully displayed. The [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] combos are nice but just feel quite ordinary next to your more unusual combos. I also voted for Archana Padmini [name_f]Rose[/name_f], which also has a lovely flow and is perfectly exotically beautiful in the best way. She may actually be my favourite . . . !

I would say my favorite is [name_f]Rajani[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f]. [name_f]Rajani[/name_f] has always stood out to me as pretty and strong-sounding. If not this, then I like the [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] combos.

@morning_glory and pacifica: Thanks a lot! I do love [name_f]Rajani[/name_f]. It’s one of the names of the goddess [name_f]Kali[/name_f], who is the destroyer of demons and the bestower of enlightenment in Hinduism - she’s known primarily to non-Hindus as the goddess of death, but she’s really a lot more complicated than that. I think that association makes the name extra strong.

I voted for [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Karine[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f]. I think they are all solid combinations with an exotic and feminine flow, I’m just too unfamiliar with your other names for them to stand out to me.

The only thing I will mention is that [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Padma[/name_f] [name_f]Karine[/name_f] has a distinctive [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] feel as both [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] and [name_f]Padma[/name_f] are [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] characters who dated [name_m]Ron[/name_m] Weasley, however this may not bother you.

Either way the combinations you have are lovely and I’m sure your little one will be blessed with a meaningful name.

Oh, I didn’t even think of the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] thing! I knew there was something about that combo that made it oddly familiar to me when I came up with it, but I did love that series so I don’t think it bothers me. Those two were relatively minor characters anyway, if I’m recalling correctly.
