What do you think of the name [name]Tucker[/name]? It would likely be [name]Tucker[/name] [name]James[/name] Mermer. The joke is that we came up with the name because we think he will tucker us out once he’s born because of how much he’s moving around in there.
I have a soft spot for tucker. I babysat the sweetest little boy with that name maybe a decade ago. I have only good feelings for it and the nn [name]Tuck[/name].
I think [name]Tucker[/name] is a really cute name. It would work very well on a little boy! Good luck!
I know a 17-year-old named [name]Tucker[/name]. He’s a great kid: mature, responsible, nice, so I only have good feelings for the name. Its got that trendy -er ending, but is less common than say [name]Cooper[/name] or [name]Carter[/name]. Plus [name]Tuck[/name] is an adorable nickname! The [name]Tucker[/name] that I know was called “Tuckles” and “[name]Tuck[/name] [name]Tuck[/name]” as a little kid, too cute!
A friend of mine has a [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Tucker[/name] who goes by [name]Tuck[/name], which I think is adorable.
Not sure how I feel about the repeated -er endings with your surname, though.
[name]Love[/name] the name, agree with pp about the repeating ER though.
I love the name [name]Tucker[/name]! The only reason I talked myself out of adding it to my own dream list is because of the curse word it rhymes with.
If that doesn’t bother you, the go for it! Good luck!
Although -er ending last names are quite popular, I’m not sure [name]Tucker[/name] workers with your last name Mermer. It feels a bit too matchy with the -er ending and especially the two syllables. I do however love the middle names [name]James[/name] for the one syllable rhythmic flow. Why don’t you consider a three syllable name without an -er ending or last name instead?
Totally agree with the above. ___-ER ___-ER; it’s just too much. [name]Tucker[/name] is a great name though.

Although [name]Tucker[/name] rhymes with a bad word, I’ve always loved this name. I know a couple of Tuckers, so I have a good association. I’d say go with it!
I don’t love [name]Tucker[/name], but I don’t dislike it either, but as other people have said [name]Tucker[/name] Mermer isn’t a good combination. The same syllable number AND rhyming is just too much.
As someone who married into an easily made-fun-of last name, I’d really think about the teasing potential. We are expecting twin boys in [name]April[/name] and I had to really search and consider before we settled on our names…I didn’t want anything remotely “teasable” in their first names. My son is in middle school and he’s really sick of being teased about our last name!
Kids are NOT nice these days and it would make me really sad as a mom if his peers made fun of my son’s first name. Middle school is BAD these days. With facebook, etc., kids do not think twice about being quite vicious.
[name]Just[/name] my opinion, although [name]Tucker[/name] is a really cute name.
Congrats and best wishes on your pregnancy!

Still considering [name]Tucker[/name]. I kind of like the -er, -er together. To me it flows well. But I’m [name]Ginger[/name] [name]Piper[/name] Mermer so maybe thats why. As far as the swear that rhymes with it, my thought is that kids wouldn’t know that word until they’re older, and hopefully past the teasing stage. We also like [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Noah[/name], [name]Gavin[/name], and [name]Elias[/name]. I’m open to other suggestions.
