Opinions on two combos?

Was wondering what you all thought of the name [name]Katharine[/name] (this spelling only) [name]Joy[/name], with the occasional nickname [name]Katie[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Katharine[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is too “old” sounding?

Also wanted some feedback on [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Victoria[/name].

Thanks guys!

I think [name]Katharine[/name] is a classic name that could work at any age, and it sounds beautiful with [name]Joy[/name]. [name]Katie[/name] is very cute! [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] is nice too, but it sounds kind of repetitive with both names ending with the “ia” sound. I like [name]Katharine[/name] [name]Joy[/name] much better. Good luck!

Anyone else? I really need some feedback.

I think [name]Katharine[/name] is fine. Personally I prefer [name]Katherine[/name], but really there is nothing wrong with [name]Katharine[/name]. It sounds good with [name]Joy[/name]. The meaning of the names match nicely. “Pure [name]Joy[/name]!” I don’t think [name]Katharine[/name] is old sounding at all. It is one of those classic names that you can’t go wrong with. The nickname [name]Katie[/name] keeps it fresh.

I also like [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], and the double “ia” sound doesn’t bother me. [name]Both[/name] my first and middle name ends with an “ah” sound and I think it flows nicely and sounds kind of elegant.

I would chose [name]Katharine[/name] [name]Joy[/name] if it were me. [name]Katherine[/name] is on my list of names I am considering.

I agree, I think [name]Katharine[/name] is timeless as it has been well-used over time and isn’t linked with any particular time period.

[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] doesn’t work well, imo. The ending sounds are too close and both are long names, so I think it gets to be a mouthful, especially if you have a longer last name.
