[name_f]Venus[/name_f] is really starting to grow on me - what do y’all think about it?
I don’t particularly care for it, but then again I tend to go toward more traditional names. I will say it reminds me of the very strong and smart [name_f]Venus[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m], which wouldn’t be a bad connotation!
I’m pretty open to unconventional names, but I’m struggling to get my head around [name_f]Venus[/name_f]. Something about the sound of it just doesn’t grab me, at least not for a first name, maybe a middle?
In saying that though the name certainly does come with some great associations! [name_f]Celestial[/name_f] body, the goddess of love and beauty and I’m a huge tennis fan haha, also I love love love Botticelli so it definitely has it’s merits.
I’d consider using it as a middle or a first if paired with a classic middle name, if you were to pair it that way I think it has the potential to sound more sophisticated and unusual than just plain “out there”. Definitely worth consideration [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Venus[/name_f] is a name I so badly want to love but just can’t. I hear it and all I can think of is the razor brand and the song. However, with the right first name it could be a solid middle name option
I like quirky feminine names, but can’t give my stamp on [name_f]Venus[/name_f]. Middle name, maybe.
It think its the fact that is rhymes with a certain part of the male anatomy that kills [name_f]Venus[/name_f] as a fn for me, all I can think about it kids singing that name rhyming song in school
[name_f]Venus[/name_f] is not as weird as [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] but still, I would not use it.
