I like it. Recognizable but uncommon, intriguing nickname options, strong history.
Brother to [name_m]Fitzgerald[/name_m] and Steinbeck?
I love it- I adore [name_m]George[/name_m] Orwell’s writing, it has a lovely sound, is recognisable, easy to say and pronounce: a winner, in my books.
It is interesting, but I feel like the literary tie is almost too strong…like that it’s a huge association. I have seen a few boys named [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] and I felt the same way. Almost like they 're living in the shadow of their parent’s hero. I would definitely stay away from this name unless I absolutely loved Orwell. I don 't think reading Animal Farm and 1984 will cut it.
