I really think that it should be pronounced OAT-illy. Saying AWE-tilly in a relaxed way sounds too much like the word “oddly”.

I say it like OUGHT-ill-ee. I’ve never heard it out loud, so that’s just where I’ve always gone with it. I’ve heard the proper [name_m]German[/name_m] pronunciation is oh-[name_m]TEEL[/name_m]-ee-yah, though.
