I’ve been really liking [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] recently. Does it sound to close to oddly? What’s your opinion on it?
I think [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] is sweet. Makes me think of lace and Victorian dresses I also really like the longer form [name_f]Ottaline[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]. It’s a very sweet name. I pronounce it AHT-ih-lee and so it’s not very close to oddly [ahd-lee] at all.
I love [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]! It’s one of my favourite names. However, I can never find the correct pronunciation.
Though most sources say it’s pronounced AHT-ih-lee or oh-tee-lee-uh.
I think its just ok, I find it awkward to say.
I agree with this wholeheartedly! [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] is lovely ![]()
I like [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], but I’m not 100% sure on how to pronounce it.
I love it. [name_m]German[/name_m] and stately, but lightened by the IE ending. Girl names beginning with O are rare - quite a substantial letter. Plus [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] makes one think of otters, and who doesn’t love otters. I say [name_m]AH[/name_m]-tuhl-lee though the proper prn is oh-[name_m]TEEL[/name_m]-ee-uh apparently.
There’s also [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] - more formal but equally lovely imo.
