Our Early Arrival

We are blessed to welcome to the world our newest little love: [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] [name_m]Paul[/name_m] [name_u]Christie[/name_u]. We knew he’d be joining us early, but he came even early than expected (at almost 35 weeks) on [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f], [name_u]January[/name_u] 3rd. He weighed 4 lbs 15oz (yay!) and is a surprising 18.75 inches long. Due to his early arrival and size, he’s been in the NICU, but he’s doing very well and it hasn’t stopped Momma and Daddy from taking over 175 photos already!

[name_m]Viggo[/name_m]: [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] is a Nordic/Scandinavian/Viking name that means “battle/war/fighter” as well as “little one in the cradle” and it was the name given to the youngest, most handsome boy on a Viking ship.

[name_m]Paul[/name_m]: He shares his middle name with each of his grandfathers. It means “small” or “humble.” It means he also has a [name_m]Christian[/name_m] middle name like his brothers.

[name_u]Christie[/name_u]: My maiden. We wanted this in there as a strong tie to a strong, much loved, much admired family, so he’s got two middle names.

Big brothers [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] [name_m]Joel[/name_m] are pretty thrilled.

Congratulations on your healthy [name_m]Viggo[/name_m]! Great name too!

Congratulations! He is nicely named.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Viggo[/name_m]! One of my favs. Congrats:)

Congratulations! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Viggo[/name_m]! My top name atm

Congratulations! I love his name!

Oh, you lucky thing. My husband vetoed [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] but it is one of my top two favourite names. I hope he is doing well.

[name_m]Viggo[/name_m] is such a cool name

Congratulations, it sounds like he’s doing really really well. Hopefully he’ll be out of the NICU in no time and home with his big brothers.

Congratulations : )

I love the name [name_m]Viggo[/name_m]! Not only is it a great name, but the meaning is fits the warrior spirit of premature babies.

My now 18 month old daughter was also born at 35 weeks and we spent 15 days in the NICU. I wish you, your family, and your handsome warrior all the best.
