Okay, so we are due in little under 2 weeks (on the 13th) and we have made the final decision:
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
And we’d like some feedback.
Please be as detailed as possible.
Please rate it out of ten, tell me how you think it flows, how it sounds with big sister [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], tell me if you think it ages well, tell me if it would suit a professional woman. [name_m]Just[/name_m] tell me everything that comes to mind.
I think it’s gorgeous! Very versatile and still quite feminine; timeless but not boring. I do think it will age well. And I’m always happy to see [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - it’s such a great name and its rhythm makes it work well as a middle name a lot of the time, but it’s rarely used. I like it a lot with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], too.
I think it’s a great choice. I actually know sisters [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] (over 30) so to me it sounds complimentary. They have an Eastern European background, but I feel like those two names are firmly mainstream in NA. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] reminds me of the movie WallE, which is a plus. Usually I don’t like a fn and mn with the same syllables, but this flows fine, maybe because [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is very strong and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is soft. Congrats! 9/10
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] strikes the right balance: it has strength and softness and an intriguing mix of exotic European flair and otherwordly elegance. The name is a great addition to a family with a big sister called [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]. She sounds like a capable woman ready to take on the world! I think you have a winner here!
I really like the combo [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]. I think it sounds great on a small child and a professional adult.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] also sounds really good with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. 8/10
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is beautiful and goes so well with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]!
I think [name_f]Eva[/name_f] will age well and if this reassures you, I have a friend named [name_f]Eva/name_f who’s mum, grandma and great grandma are all called [name_f]Eva[/name_f], so it does age!
I agree with the others: [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is a lovely combo that will carry her well throughout her life. It is Professional, Spunky yet sweet and sounds good with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f].
Perfect combination, [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] compliment each other and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] sound like a gorgeous sibset.
I think it is pretty. Maybe even [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f] would sound better together. They don’t seem to match as much but as standalone names they are nice.
Well, I love it! It flows well.
However, I dislike it with your daughter’s name. I was disappointed when I saw your oldest daughter’s name… [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are really similar. It also reminds me of Frozen’s [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsa[/name_f].
I like the middles sounding similar. It’s cute when they have a subtle connection. They are both pretty names. [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f].
It bugs me when people use such matchy names for siblings. [name_m]Even[/name_m] potential nicknames [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] are similar. It doesn’t bother other people, for some reason. I hope my honesty doesn’t upset you. I know you probably love the name and you don’t have much time left.
All the best. Sounds like you are ready. Who cares what I think.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is perfect with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]! They are both very clean cut sounding names, so they go well together. [name_m]Both[/name_m] the names are sweet but spunky, I love them!
I’ve always loved the name [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is perfect with it. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] are a lovely sibset, I can’t think of any better names to go with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]. Beautiful- 9/10!
[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: I don’t think they are matchy at all, the only similarity is that they both end in -a and they are a similar style. It’s not like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Anya[/name_f] or something. I would only think of Frozen if it was [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] or [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]…
I love it! I’ve always loved [name_f]Eva[/name_f] more than the popular [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. I think it will age beautifully and it sounds great with big sis [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. It sounds really good with [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] too!
I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] but I think it works really well with [name_f]Eva[/name_f]. The flow is nice, and I like that [name_f]Eva[/name_f] means “life” and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] means “heavenly.”
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] are both strong, classic, and wise sounding. They both can fit someone very earthy or more “floaty,” and both names travel well. I adore [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] and am always happy to see it. I can’t give it a number but I quite like this pair!
