I love the name [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] but personally not so keen on [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
And I also love iris [name_f]Ada[/name_f]
If I had too chose would choose [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]! It’s sweet and flows really well- [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is a little choppy for me.
I don’t think [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] really needs a nickname. I have a cousin [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] who wears the name so well and doesn’t use a nickname.
I you really want one though, I think Daph or [name_u]Daffy[/name_u] is the most instinctive. Maybe [name_f]Dee[/name_f], [name_f]Fifi[/name_f], [name_f]Ephie[/name_f], Nina…

i love both of these, though i slightly prefer daphne frances! maybe daphne iris, too? i also don’t think daphne really needs a nickname!

congratulations !! i like daphne best - she has such a gorgeous, light feeling. daphne frances is an absolutely enchanting combo !! i’m not a fan of ‘daph’, so for a nickname for daphne, i’d probably go for something stretchy like finn or fee.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ada[/name_f] has a distinctive and interesting sound - sharp and bright, lively and sassy. Of the two, it would be a more ‘popular’ choice, in terms of the name charts, if that bothers you.
I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], but both are fabulous

I like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] better than [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], but I also love [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and the combo [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is really good. But I slightly prefer [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ada[/name_f].
Both are nice but [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] are very high on my own list so I definitely vote for that. I have [name_f]Nina[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] on my list because of the ending sound. You could also get to [name_u]Dani[/name_u] (originally I was thinking the D + the ‘an’ in [name_f]Frances[/name_f] but then realized Da + ne of [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] also gets you there in a much less stretchy way).
Congratulations! And WOW! How to choose?! Both of these names are so utterly gorgeous. Flawless. You really can’t go wrong.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you anticipate more children? Would one of these potentially go to a little sister one day? If so, I like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ada[/name_f] as the firstborn name, and save the beautiful [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] for another time.
Are any of the names honor names? That would give it the edge, in my opinion. I would use that over anything else.
