Give me your first and second favs! I ask for second favs cause I know everyone is going to pick [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] but husband is still unsure on his feels for [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] lol, so I need some thoughts on the others, too.
[name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is my favourite with [name_f]Leni[/name_f] & Ru. I also think [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunny[/name_f] match nicely too. They’re all bright, summer names to me. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner was unsure on [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] too (why are they like this!), but he loved [name_f]Sunny[/name_f] and [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] so hopefully they might be a little easier to get on board with.
I like [name_f]Penny[/name_f], but I think rhyming with [name_f]Leni[/name_f] might become a bit of a tongue twister.
[name_f]Frances[/name_f] feels like a more formal choice next to [name_f]Leni[/name_f] and Ru, a nice name but I think personally I’d go for one of the others.
All great choices though, hopefully you find something soon!
[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] is really lovely and actually does have meaning to me! We had a special person in our life named [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] when I was a little girl, who has since passed, but she’s the only one I’ve known with the name and so it feels like a significant association.
Yep, I think is my #1 still [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]. [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is #2. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s formal next to [name_f]Leni[/name_f] & Ru, it’s still such a lovely name.
My favorite is by far Effie (I’d love to name one of my future children Effie but I don’t know how my partner would feel about it). My second favorite would definitely be Birdie, but since he doesn’t like it, I’d say Tilly.
(Also, I’ve always loved Rue as a middle name for Effie, so I think they definitely go together!)
[name_f]Effie[/name_f] is the best! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband often says it reminds him of a dog’s name…. He’s so particular and opinionated with these things. [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to know he isn’t the only one lol.
He initially thought [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] was so cute but has since said he doesn’t know it suits our style and that it feels a bit vintage for him.
He does like [name_f]Tilly[/name_f], so that’s a good sign.
Nevertheless, I put up a good fight lol.

Interesting how [name_f]Fran[/name_f] has a diff feel than [name_f]Frances[/name_f]! I mean, makes sense, but also still catches me by surprise. We instinctually say [name_f]Fran[/name_f] more than we do [name_f]Franny[/name_f]. I think just short and easy. I never would think to use [name_f]Fran[/name_f] as a full name, but I like it a lot and it certainly mirrors the other girls’ short names well
Oh I love [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] for you! [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is sweet, and I have loved [name_f]Frances[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] is the perfect sister for [name_f]Leni[/name_f] and Ru. I’m also really fond of [name_f]Sunny[/name_f] with your girls… I think those would probably be my new favorites, although I love [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] too.

Though I would add, [name_f]Effie[/name_f] could be a nickname for [name_f]Frances[/name_f], which also makes me think [name_f]Essie[/name_f] could work for [name_f]Sunny[/name_f].
Ooo I never would have thought to use [name_f]Effie[/name_f] in short for [name_f]Frances[/name_f]! That actually works well and in my favour cause my husband isn’t rooting for [name_f]Effie[/name_f] but I have been for years
I’m going to vote for [name_f]Frances[/name_f] or [name_f]Fran[/name_f] because that gives each of your girls a unique ending to the name
