Our unbelievable huge list

Only a few weeks left until we will meet our little one. We don’t know the sex of our baby which makes the naming process so much harder! Plus, We live in the UK, but I am of Swedish heritage and I dream of one day moving back to [name]France[/name] were I lived as a child. So, we would like a name that works in a lot of countries and we would prefer if it wasn’t too popular and if it soundes good with my daughters name, [name]Melina[/name].

It would be very helpful if you could comment or whatever on our huge girls list now when you know a little about us and what we want in a name.

HALF our list:

Please be very honest with your opinions! I will post the other half of our list later.

[name]Arthur[/name] - like it
[name]Atticus[/name] - too ott
[name]Aiden[/name]/[name]Aidan[/name] - overwhelmingly popular but if that doesn’t bother you then nice!
[name]August[/name] - is a month
[name]Charlie[/name] - cute but i’ve always thought is a little too nicknamey for a full name but then I don’t like [name]Charles[/name]…
[name]Cassian[/name] - reminds me of hessian the coarse material…
[name]Carlisle[/name] - is a place
[name]Caspian[/name] - like prince caspian? I do like [name]Casper[/name] though.
[name]Devin[/name] - hmm interesting not sure on this one
[name]Davin[/name] - just doesn’t seem like a name to me
[name]Draco[/name] - i think is too soon since harry potter - i think he would be labelled “baddy” from the off - so although i like the name i think it’s a little unfair to saddle your kid with those associations
[name]Dominic[/name] - love this
[name]Edward[/name] - love [name]Edward[/name] and [name]Edmund[/name]
[name]Elian[/name] - i read this as alien…
[name]Felix[/name] - like it but may get teased for being named after a cat
[name]Hayden[/name] - see aiden (much prefer [name]Aidan[/name] to this though)
[name]Isaac[/name] - not a name i’d use but is ok
[name]Jack[/name] - love [name]Jack[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name] - hate (with a passion) names ending in son… Sorry!
[name]James[/name] - love [name]James[/name] - nice classic will age well
[name]Julian[/name] - I just can’t help get over the girl associations to this name (I have a female friend named [name]Julie[/name]-[name]Anne[/name])
[name]Jasper[/name] - like it
[name]Jayden[/name]/[name]Jaden[/name] - see [name]Aiden[/name] (again prefer [name]Aidan[/name] to this)

My picks would be [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Aidan[/name], [name]Casper[/name], [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Edward[/name], [name]Edmund[/name], [name]Jack[/name], [name]James[/name] or [name]Jasper[/name].
