Owen Austin, Jonah Austin, or Myles Austin

We are trying to decide between Owen Austin, Jonah Austin, or Myles Austin. Last name is Walker.

Possibly not the most helpful - but I actually like Austin Walker (focusing on flow to Walker) if any change Austin could be in top spot.

Some assorted thoughts on the main three:

Owen Walker.- friendly, outdoorsy, dependent - it looks nice (to look at). Its only very small “downsides” are the repeat W so close (so Owen almost gets lost) and the reorder ending sounds of Austin. It’s maybe the safest of your choices. The name feels very cohesive though. Others: Evren, Evan, Liam, Callan, Alasdair, Lachlan, Ronan (goes so well!) or Nolan.

Jonah Walker is a little repetitive and harder to say somehow - with the two syllable A/ER endings (could Jonas or Josiah work better?). Has the JAW initials. A ending of Jonah not best flow to Austin. But it definitely has something spunky and unexpected & fresh about it for sure. It’s a little more distinct than Owen as the names don’t seem like an obvious first and last name pairing. Jonah’s also a very likeable, could be sporty, could be creative, name. Tobias/Toby Walker has a similar spunky feel too. And Isaac - for another biblical and cool name that flows well to Walker (and nn Zac Walker sounds good too).

Edit: my vote went to Jonah btw - because of the reasoning here.

Myles Walker sounds cool and flows the best of the three imo - but could be a set up for teasing / jokes re being someone who can walk long distances (a miles walker) etc. Maybe it’s just something to be aware of - obv teasing usually only happens for a short while if at all, and maybe a Myles Walker would be confident enough to handle it! Other possibilities: Milo, Jude, Zane, Ellis, Niels, Leo, Jack, Rhys, Dean. Felix (flows so well to Walker), Cyrus, Elias, Silas.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

I love [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- gentle but solid with a pleasant sound. I like [name_m]Myles[/name_m] but “Myles Walker” sounds a bit descriptive to me

I think [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] sounds the best, but I’m in love with the idea of [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] [name_m]Walker[/name_m], and [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Walker[/name_m] sounds really lovely! [name_f][/name_f] He got my vote. [name_f][/name_f]

Good luck!

lol. [name_m]Myles[/name_m] is my brother’s name and Jonah… well … it’s complicated [name_f][/name_f] but 16 years later i still like his face…

[name_f][/name_f]

anyway.

I don’t know if any of these flow all too well except for [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] (my brother’s middle is [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] for context)

I picked [name_m]Jonah[/name_m], because as others have said [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_m]Walker[/name_m] sounds like ‘miles walker’, and [name_m]Owen[/name_m] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] isn’t the best flow for a first and last.

[name_f][/name_f]

The flow from [name_m]Jon[/name_m]ah[name_f][/name_f] to Austin is a tiny but clunky for me, but I wouldn’t say it’s a deal breaker?

[name_f]Love[/name_f] other suggestions of [name_m]Jude[/name_m] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Walker[/name_m] or [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Walker[/name_m]!
