Paddy as a nickname for

I recently stumbled across the nickname [name_m]Paddy[/name_m] for a girl and I’ve fallen so hard for the idea of [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] (which I’ve always absolutely loved) with nickname Paddy/Paddi … BUT alas I already have an [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and… i think I already know the answer to this but is [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] just too similar to sister [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] …other 2 sisters are [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]. [name_m]Or[/name_m] could it work?
I do also love [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] but is [name_m]Paddi[/name_m] just a bit too much of a stretch?
That was all i could really think of in terms of other names that could work?
What other full name/nickname combos have a similar ‘vibe’ to [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] nickname Paddy/Paddi
love to hear your thoughts

Hm! I do think [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] can work actually. It’s not ideal but I don’t think it’s the end of the world, thinking of it practically in terms of how much the similarities would really affect them. The starting sounds and nicknames are different enough.

That said, I like [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] more! I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch and it solves your problem with [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] sounding too much alike.

Maybe [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] nn [name_m]Paddie[/name_m]?

You may also like [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] ‘Prudie’ or [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] ‘Prim or Posey’ or [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] ‘Persey’ or [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] ‘Caddie’

There’s always Patricia (Paddy & Patty sound identical in my accent)

Otherwise I’d consider

Patience
Paderau
Padme
Paradise
Pandita
Pedrine
Prideaux
Parthenia
Parvati
Patel
Petra
Perdita
Pretoria / Praetoria
Piritta

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] are a bit too close for me, but with the sisters between them, it might work, especially with nicknames.

A few other ideas:

[name_f]Perdita[/name_f] ‘Paddy’
[name_f]Patience[/name_f] ‘Paddy’
[name_f]Petra[/name_f] ‘Paddy’
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] ‘Paddy’

Similar vibes:

[name_f]Imogene[/name_f] ‘Iggy’
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f] ‘Sol’
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] ‘Vinnie’
[name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] / [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] ‘Wilkie’
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] ‘Francie’
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] ‘Jem’
[name_f]Persephone[/name_f] ‘Percy’
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ‘Kip’ ‘Callie’
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] ‘Daley’

How about [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] nn [name_m]Paddy[/name_m]?

[name_m]Paddy[/name_m] is such a cute nickname on a girl! Maybe [name_f]Padme[/name_f] could work for you?

I’d be worried [name_m]Paddi[/name_m] would be constantly misheard at dated [name_f]Patty[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] sounds too similar to [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], and [name_m]Paddy[/name_m] may get misspelled as [name_f]Patty[/name_f]- I love the suggestion of [name_f]Padme[/name_f]!
