For me it would be a GP name I think, but it’s a very cool name! It would make a fun middle name if it felt too out-there for a first name. I think it has a lot of more usable/expected nicknames (Angie, [name_f]Gia[/name_f], [name_f]Penny[/name_f] etc). How fun would it be to meet an [name_f]Angie[/name_f] and then find out it was short for Pangaea?
Echoing this, my first instinct is girl but it’s a word name so I don’t think it’s totally unreasonable on a boy. I’d assume a Pangaea was a girl, though for the reason mentioned above by KaiLun.
