I don’t really care for [name]Pascaline[/name], it’s one of those names that really isn’t my style. I think it’s a bit unusual for a first name, but I think it could work really well in the middle.

Thanks for all of the responses, everyone! There seems to be some diversity of opinion, but for the most part people don’t seem to like it. I intentionally didn’t want to say too much in my opening post because I didn’t want to sway responses in any direction. I’ve liked the look of [name]Pascaline[/name] for a while, thinking that it seemed quirky in the same vein as [name]Clementine[/name] or [name]Penelope[/name] but much less well-known, and then I said it aloud when day and I began to worry that it sounded sort of medicinal/chemical somehow. I still find it intriguing and I don’t dislike it, but I guess some of the shine has been taken off it. Still, thanks for all of the responses! It’s great to get such a variety of opinions.
