I think it’s a splendid name, I voted I love it.

I like [name]Pearl[/name] as a MN. Which is probably why it’s on my list as a MN, haha. But it’s still [name]WAY[/name] too vintage for me as a FN. Besides, now that my sister’s doing this paper on The [name]Scarlet[/name] Letter, I have just remembered that [name]Pearl[/name]'s the name of [name]Hester[/name]'s daughter, and ugh, I hated that book SO much, so that gives me another reason to hate [name]Pearl[/name] as a FN even more. I would respect it on someone else’s child, but I can never imagine me using [name]Pearl[/name], personally. I do like it, though.
I think it makes a great middle name. I know somebody young named [name]Pearl[/name]. She wears it well, but to me it lacks as a first name. 
I think [name]Pearl[/name] is lustrous and beautiful! Due for a comeback, for sure.
