Ok, so we have officially decided on this name if baby is a girl (we find out Friday!). I’m having trouble choosing a spelling. I always prefer the most traditional spelling of names, but it seems as though all of these are viable choices. Siblings are [name_u]Quincy[/name_u], [name_u]Romilly/Romy[/name_u], [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and step-sister [name_u]Elzie[/name_u].
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Perrine[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], nn [name_u]Peri[/name_u]? [name_f]Perrine[/name_f] is an old [name_m]French[/name_m] name meaning ‘traveler’
I like [name_u]Perry[/name_u] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] best.
[name_f]Perrie[/name_f] is the spelling used by the girl in [name_m]Little[/name_m] Mix, [name_f]Perri[/name_f] looks unfinished and [name_u]Peri[/name_u] just makes me think of [name_u]Peri[/name_u] [name_u]Peri[/name_u] chicken/sauce.
Cute name! I like both [name_u]Peri[/name_u] and [name_u]Perry[/name_u]. [name_u]Peri[/name_u] seems more feminine and [name_u]Perry[/name_u] more unisex/masculine. I don’t care for [name_f]Perrie[/name_f] or [name_f]Perri[/name_f].
I think [name_u]Peri[/name_u] is the best, it looks neater than the others. I like pp’s suggestion of [name_f]Perrine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Peri[/name_u].
