Basically what the title says :smiling_face:. Which is your preferred spelling? Also, what are your opinions on the name in general?

It feels the most natural to me, plus I feel like it leads to the nn [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] (which I love) more easily. (though I also think it would work for both) And I do love the name in general! Cute nicknames, vintage feel, cool meaning…it’s amazing!

Okay, so I’ve literally sat here for about ten minutes trying to decide and now neither are looking right :grin:

I think [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] is my go to - it’s the one that ranks where I am - so I’m just going to say that for now. It’s a nice name - kind of clunky cute but elegant and zippy at the same time

Thank you! [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] was always my go-to spelling, but my wife asked about this one as a potential honour name for an uncle [name_m]Phillip[/name_m]. (However we think both spellings work fine)

i’d go for philippa !! i want to phillipa like fuh-LEEP-uh, which i don’t think is what you’re going for. if you want to honour phillip as directly as possible, i’d go for phillippa i guess? and of course, pippa’s an excellent choice <3

I prefer [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] too. It feels more natural and complete, although all spellings are lovely :slight_smile:
